Crisp whites and calming earth tones dominate the design – although rustic beams add a touch of traditional character – creating a minimalist and modern space to chill out and relax. Hunker down at the desk and catch up on work, sip a glass of Rioja around the kitchen island or sprawl out on the sofa and watch a film on the smart TV. Both bedrooms are equally comfortable, and the bathroom is glossy and sleek – we think it's a great spot to call home while you're in town.

Speaking of location, this home is a two-minute walk from Zurriola Beach. Pack a picnic, grab your suncream and enjoy an afternoon swimming in the turquoise waters and lounging on the soft white sand. Elsewhere, tapas bars, local restaurants and clothing boutiques within walking distance give you plenty to discover when you're not basking in the sunshine. Your host can also arrange a variety of experiences to take your trip to the next level, ranging from wine tours to mountain treks. Sounds like an ideal Spanish holiday to us.

This Little Light

Ideally located just 100 metres from the sandy shores of Zurriola Beach, this stunning apartment is perfect for families or small groups of friends who want to discover the lively side of San Sebastian. On arrival, you’ll notice the long bookshelves in the hallway, home to a curated collection of holiday reads. A sense of artist’s studio continues in the open living area, its white walls adorned with modern art. The compact kitchen in the corner is set up like your very own speakeasy cocktail bar.  Enjoy breakfast and coffee at one of many nearby cafes before heading to the beach to surf, swim and sunbathe. Cross the bridge near the apartment to savour local delicacies at one of the popular nearby pintxo bars. When you return, lose yourself in a book on the balcony and enjoy the peace and quiet of the tranquil surroundings.

Orilla

This San Sebastián apartment absolutely nails it when it comes to location. The sandy Zurriola Beach is a five-minute stroll away (perfect for surfing), while Old Town is walkable in ten – if that's not central, we don't know what it is. When you're not out and about, the contemporary living space has relaxation written all over it. Two single bedrooms make it an ideal option for families. The cherry on top is a private balcony. There's only room for two to sit comfortably, but it's the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of sangria as the sun goes down.

Surfer's Spirit

Offering phenomenal panoramic views of the river and out to sea, this apartment is situated in one of San Sebastian's most affluent areas, adjacent to La Zurriola beach. Admire the breathtaking scenes while you sip your morning coffee on the sunny balcony. Start your day with a refreshing swim in the sea before soaking up the rays on the sandy beach. Whip up a tasty meal in the designer kitchen, or head across the bridge into Old Town for lunch, where you'll find a multitude of delicious independent eateries. Saunter up the steep hill to Mota Castle to see the city from above before heading to the marina and sailing away on a sightseeing cruise. Grab dinner at one of the many pintxo bars, followed by cocktails at Dry San Sebastian, just opposite the apartment. Finish your day with a relaxing soak in the tub and drift off to sleep in one of the apartment's luxurious comfy beds.

Vista del Rio

You'll find this modern apartment in San Sebastián's lively Gros neighbourhood. It's the perfect location if sightseeing, sunbathing, and swimming in the sea are on your to-do list. Zurriola Beach is a five-minute stroll away, while the historic Old Town is walkable in ten. Back home, you can unwind after your adventures in style. We love the mix of stone and pine, which gives the otherwise contemporary-cool design some rustic flair. Our favourite feature is the en-suite bathroom, with a pink tub and rainfall shower ideal for long, luxurious soaks.

Basque Breeze

Just a two-minute stroll from Zurriola Beach, this apartment is perfect for those wanting to be a stone's throw from San Sebastián's sandy shores. Whether surfing, swimming, or sightseeing is on your itinerary, we can't think of a better base to soak up the sun. And, it's not just the location that's sure to impress. The apartment is bright, stylish, and filled with all the essentials you need for a city break. Our favourite spot is the terrace, with its outdoor sofa ideal for unwinding. End the evening with an alfresco glass of wine and sun-kissed surroundings – what could be better?

Zurriola Zen

This two-bedroom apartment sits in a handsome, refurbished complex at the heart of the San Sebastian shopping district, yet it’s mere blocks from the beach. Minimalists will love the white, bright living space with French windows wrapping around the corner of the building. Two small balconies allow for early-morning people-watching with a cup of coffee. The kitchen is separated by a sliding door – you can also keep it open for more sociable meal prep. Two bathrooms and two showers mean there’ll be no queueing in the morning, and each bedroom has its own French window with a small balcony if you need a little space.

Por La Ventana

It’s hard to imagine a more tranquil space than this apartment, with its neutral tones and chic decor. Every single detail has been carefully curated, from the statement seating to the gorgeous light fittings. There’s plenty of space for a group of friends or a larger family to settle in here and make the most of all San Sebastian has to offer. Zurriola beach, known for its surf, is just minutes away - watch the waves from the shore or even get on a board if you’re feeling brave. The old town is also close by, where you can wander the maze-like streets for hours. When you get hungry, be sure to dive into one of the many pintxo bars and sample the snacks this city is famous for. You’re also in the ideal position to explore the wider Basque country, with its coastal trails and serene landscapes. 

Sand Dollar

Touched by the beach and within minutes of the old town, this exuberant apartment is perfect placed for your Basque adventure. The colourful interior, tinged with splashes of bright tones, puts you in a glorious mood from the moment you wake up to the fresh scent of the sea air. 

We suggest starting your day on the balcony with a cup of coffee and Spanish omelette. Each sumptuous bite of food and crisp sip of your drink is enhanced with the glistening sea as your backdrop. If you want to shelter from the heat, you can relax at the deluxe breakfast bar.

Once you're fuelled for the day, discover the endless charm of the gorgeous beaches and enchanting streets. Wander for a few seconds to Zurriola beach for a day of sunbathing and sipping cocktails. Many beach bars line the shore for authentic food and refreshing drinks.

Walk inland for five minutes and you'll reach the allure of the old town, a collection of welcoming cafes, restaurants and shops. If you'd prefer to keep things even more local, Gros is a nexus of markets and patisseries, offering the chance to mingle with locals as you find a bargain amongst the stalls. 


Bask In The Basque Country

Positioned in the ever-popular neighbourhood of Gros, you’re just a short walk from Zurriola Beach, colloquially known as Zurri. Famous for its impressive waves, it’s a surfer’s paradise and a vibrant and eclectic neighbourhood. A favourite amongst young people and keen adventurists, this area is home to numerous cultural institutions and venues, while still being close to all the city’s major attractions. From the apartment, it’s just a ten-minute walk to the Old Town, where you’ll be blown away by the sheer number of outstanding pintxos bars and restaurants. In San Sebastian, it’s essential to be hungry at all times because the food is unlike anywhere else.

Wherever the day takes you, this apartment offers a welcoming space to switch off and unwind. The open-plan living room is simple, family-friendly and well suited to remote workers.
