This home might not be the largest in our collection, but it more than makes up for its petite size with its fabulous location. Situated right on the Plaza de España, it puts you right in the heart of Madrid and makes the perfect place to begin your adventures. 

Step inside, and you'll find a sleek, modern space with parquet flooring and high ceilings. The sofa is great for relaxing in the evening and folds out into a bed, for flexible sleeping arrangements. There's also a little dining table and a chic green-tiled kitchen, where you can whip up tasty meals to refuel after a busy day. And, the stylish blue and mustard yellow colour scheme throughout the apartment creates a sense of calm that will make you feel right at home. 

The Plaza de España right outside the flat is a great place to familiarise yourself with the city – go for a stroll, and soak up the atmosphere of this popular meeting place. Culture fans can take a five-minute walk to the Royal Palace of Madrid to soak up the sense of history, and enjoy a wander through the Jardines de Sabatini afterwards. And, when you get hungry, there's a large selection of nearby restaurants nearby, serving everything from traditional Spanish dishes to Korean meals and Peruvian fare.

This bright and comfortable apartment is just a stone’s throw from the Royal Palace of Madrid. The official residence of the Head of State is open to the public, so you can explore the spot where centuries of Spanish history took place. The apartment is also just in front of the Sabatini Gardens, and 100 metres from Príncipe Pio train station. Plaza de España is only a five-minute walk away, too. Two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room, so things might feel a little crowded – you’re unlikely to be spending much time at home though.

You'll find this apartment in Argüelles, home to low-key tapas bars, art-house cinemas, and traditional eateries popular with students. Exploring is a breeze here. Ventura Rodriguez metro station is a short walk away, though you can also stroll to Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace in about twenty minutes. Back home, there's a practical yet cosy living space. The kitchen is well-appointed for rustling up light bites, while three bedrooms offer respite after a long day on your feet. If you're looking for a laid-back stay, this pad is a great choice.

When you want to get a little closer to the action, there's a balcony where you can sit out and enjoy your morning caffeine hit or pre-dinner aperitifs. Continue through to the en-suite bedroom, and the soothing neutral tones set you up for a restful night's sleep, with a spacious dressing area to try on outfit options for the day ahead once you've raised yourself from the comfy bed. Nestled in Gaztambide, a vibrant neighbourhood in Chamberí, this home is an ideal base for exploring the city. As a party of four, two people will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. And, as this home isn’t the biggest, and the bedroom is separated from the open-plan living, dining room and kitchen with a curtain, we think it’s best suited to families or groups happy to share their space. The kitchen is fine for whipping up light bites, but for more extensive meals, we’d recommend dining out at a local Spanish eatery.

Nestled on the 23rd floor of the iconic Torre de Madrid building in the Plaza de España square, this apartment is a truly special find. Not only does it place you right in the heart of the city, but it also has a range of amenities and plenty of style to ensure your stay is a roaring success. 

The views are simply to die for – pour a glass of Rioja and gaze out across the Spanish capital from the chic living room. This is the perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day, high above the hustle and bustle. Despite the apartment's central city location, the space invites guests to retreat and escape the mundane through its cosy interiors and soothing atmosphere from the moment you step through the door. It's genuinely cosy and comfortable and the original artwork on the walls gives it a distinctly homey vibe. Ideal for a younger crowd, it's a ten-minute walk to central Gran Via, and fifteen to the busy Puerta del Sol.

The host has taken it upon themself to create a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city, curating an eclectic look with antiques and flea-market finds. We love the living and dining room, complete with mid-century chairs and a chandelier to create an elegant glow for dinner parties. Another fabulous use of light comes from the shuttered windows to your private balcony. With three sets of rich, wooden folding doors, you can step out to the railings with a glass of tempranillo after supper to watch the city light up at nightfall. With decorative, gilded bed frames in the sumptuous bedrooms, you’ll even feel stylish while you sleep. Rest up well, because you’ve got some exploring to do the next morning – the three galleries of the Art Walk are all less than fifteen minutes away.

This apartment is within walking distance of an array of attractions, such as Parque Madrid Rio, Casa de Campo, the Royal Palace and La Almudena Cathedral. Of course, there are plenty of dining options to discover in the area, too. The apartment has a desk if you need to catch up on emails and a well-equipped kitchen for making some tapas. We have to say, we love the main bedroom with its dressing room and en-suite. This home is a great choice whether you’re here for leisure or work.

Dressed in earthy tones and with a rustic charm seeping from its walls, this beautiful penthouse is a welcome retreat amidst the hustle and bustle of Madrid. Chueca, famous for its active nightlife and wonderful vintage tapas bars, is a great place to experience Spanish nightlife.
