Contemporary decor and wood floors greet you in the bright living area where French doors lead out onto a Juliet balcony – the perfect spot to perch by with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Gather together for Spanish omelettes and homemade tapas at the kitchen table when you’re not out sampling the local food scene, and relish retreating to the bedrooms for a good night’s sleep after a busy day of sightseeing adventures. 

Speaking of exploring, make a beeline for the beautiful Royal Palace of Madrid, or soak up the bustling atmosphere of nearby Plaza Mayor. You’re also within easy reach of Gran Vía’s myriad shops and iconic architecture, while authentic La Latina – bursting with tapas bars and cantinas – is also an easy walk from your door.


Blue Magnolia 

Situated in one of Madrid's most vibrant areas, this charismatic home is a unique way to experience the Spanish capital. Tailor-made for friends or family with a penchant for art and original design, it oozes character from every angle.

Rustic stone walls look into deluxe wooden furnishings, creating a homely vibe that puts you instantly at ease. The entire home spreads across two floors, which exudes a cosy energy without being crowded. Once you've finished marvelling at your premium home, the magnetic energy of Madrid is just a moment away.

Major landmarks, such as the iconic Royal Palace, can be easily reached on foot. Embark on a day of sightseeing, fuelled by pit-stops at the authentic cafes and restaurants for fresh sangria and tasty paella. When the sun shines on the charming metropolis, there are an abundance of luscious parks to rest your legs.

If you'd prefer a low-key evening, you can rustle up some tapas in the kitchen and share food and conversation over the dining table. 


Artistic Heights

While the original wooden doors of the building may hark back to a different era, this apartment is full of modern charm and 21-century style. Located in front of the beautiful Plaza de la Villa and just a five-minute walk from Plaza Mayor, it couldn’t be more conveniently located to make the most out of Madrid’s sights.

Inside, a sociable open-plan living area invites you to kick back and relax, whether around the dining table for fresh coffee and pastries each morning or on the chic sofa for a glass of wine after a day of exploring. Both bedrooms are simple yet wonderfully comfortable and we’re particularly fond of the main bedroom’s French doors that lead out onto a scenic Juliet balcony. Factor in the sleek marble-clad bathrooms, and you’ve got everything you need for a carefree stay. 

When it comes to sightseeing, wander around nearby Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol (an eight-minute walk), visit the Royal Palace of Madrid (a five-minute walk) and sample the countless tapas bars and restaurants right on your front step.


Downpour

Stay Wild isn’t the most inspiring home in our Madrid Collection. The decoration is a bit on the generic side and we’re definitely not ecstatic about the fake plants. All of this can be forgiven though, with its location just moments from Plaza Mayor. The balconies offer views onto Calle Mayor and even a glimpse of Casa de Campos. This makes it ideal for those in search of a functional base to explore the city.

Stay Wild

Furnished with attention to detail and an appreciation for natural materials, this home knows how to make the best out of its assets. While the two balconies make sure that there's plenty of light in the living room and kitchen, wooden details in each room add to a coherent style that is most obviously expressed through the exposed wooden beams. We felt that the two bedrooms could benefit from an update, but the living room with the open-plan kitchen is one of the most stylish spaces we've seen in Madrid so far. 

The Byzantine

Conveniently located in the heart of the trendy Chamberi neighbourhood of ever-lively Madrid, this stylish holiday apartment provides you with a well-equipped base from which to set off and discover exactly what makes the Spanish capital tick. Its fantastic location close to both the main tourist attractions, as well as the CBD of Madrid, means that this place is equally great for a romantic escape as a couple of couples, a friends' getaway to the Southern European sunshine, a business trip, a family holiday, or even a solo retreat for those looking to delve beneath the surface of this exuberant city. Spend an afternoon strolling through the elegant streets, hopping from cafe to cafe, diving into chic boutiques, and stopping for light bites as the mood takes you.

Upon entering, a bright and welcoming living area greets you with a sophisticated palette of sunny yellow and sleek black, mirroring the effortlessly cool and fashion-forward feeling of the city itself. Then of course there's that inviting furnished balcony, accessible from both bedrooms and the living area, where we've already imagined ourselves reclining with a chilled glass of Sangria in hand, gazing out over the city and deciding which tapas bar we'll be frequenting tonight. Ah, decisions, decisions.

The Mustard Seed of Madrid

Tucked away in the heart of the La Latina neighbourhood, this contemporary home is an ideal base for friends or family on a Madrid getaway. Sure, as a party of five, one person will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room, but it’s a small price to pay for this home’s location. Sightseeing comes easily here – you’re a mere kilometre from the iconic Prado Museum, and with Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor within easy reach, shopping and sampling some authentic Spanish cuisine is a must. 

La Latina Life

You'll have plenty of attractions within walking distance of this apartment. We're talking about Parque Madrid Rio, Casa de Campo, the Royal Palace and La Almudena Cathedral. So that's some of the sights to see in and around the area, but what about where you'll be staying? Well, the home is light and bright, and there's a well-equipped kitchen to rustle up some tasty tapas. We particularly like the bedrooms and modern bathrooms here. There's everything you need for a comfy stay.

Metropolitan Oasis

Located in the oldest area of Madrid – Centro – this home is the ideal base to explore the history and culture of the area. After breakfast, catch up on any important work or write postcards home to loved ones at the dedicated workstation before you head out for the day. Take in the impressive architecture from the reign of Isabella II, including the Puerta del Sol, wander the Plaza Mayor, stroll the famous Gran Via, or stop for a break and enjoy a meal in Santo Domingo Square. 

Take a refreshing afternoon dip in the building’s shared swimming pool or work up a sweat and keep fit in the gym. After a busy day, get comfortable on the sofa and enjoy some soft Spanish music played on the vinyl record player. Enjoy a fresh breeze from the home’s Juliet balcony as you enjoy tapas meals at the dining table. Then, why not take a glass of sangria out onto the balcony itself to take in the Madrilenian architecture as the night settles in? 

Window to the Sol

Few cities can rival Madrid’s vibrancy and charm and this bright and cosy apartment situated at its heart is the ideal place from which to explore all the wonders that this magical city has to offer. 

This place may be small in scale but that takes nothing away from its appeal. Step through the front door to find yourself in the warm embrace of the open-plan living area. We love the elegant wallpaper with its floral pattern and the unique artworks adorning the walls. This is a great space to relax after a day of dashing about town – snuggle up on the sofa with a glass of Spanish wine or whip up a quick and delicious supper in the well-equipped kitchen. You can enjoy your meals at the stylish dining table which also does a great job as a laptop-friendly office spot. 

For a taste of nighttime luxury head to the plush bedroom which carries the promise of restful sleep. Factor in the sparkling bathroom and you’ve got everything you need for a restful stay. 

When it comes to enjoying all the pleasures of Madrid you could hardly pick a better location: just a few minutes away from the Royal Palace and close to many of the city’s most iconic sights, you’ll be able to truly immerse yourself in the capital’s unique vibes. 


The Hours 

Stylishly modern, this apartment just a seven-minute stroll from Plaza de España is an ideal base for those looking for a comfortable stay within easy reach of Madrid’s most celebrated sights. 
 
Wood floors, contemporary furnishings and a glossy white finish create a strikingly fashionable welcome in the open-plan living area. We love the carefully chosen ornaments that give the space plenty of character – like the shiny copper coffee table, the freestanding lamp, as well as the assortment of throw pillows on the plump sofa. Kick back with a glass of Spanish wine after a long day of sightseeing, or if you have work to catch up on, you’ll find a desk space here ready to make working from home a breeze. 
 
The chic breakfast bar invites sociable mornings over fresh coffee and locally bought pastries, while the bedroom, tucked behind a fringe curtain beckons a restful night’s sleep. Factor in the sleek bathroom with its rainfall shower, and you’ve got everything you need for a relaxing stay. 
 
Outside of your home, you’ve got plenty of cultural hotspots within easy walking distance, including Gran Vía (nine minutes), the Royal Palace of Madrid (ten minutes), the ancient Egyptian Temple of Debod (also ten minutes), and Plaza Mayor (eighteen minutes).

Bursting with light-filled energy, this central Madrid spot will have you awe-inspired from the moment you arrive. In fact, it's hard to believe that the apartment's location resides within the city centre at all, as here you'll be surrounded by natural life and greenery. 

With a beautifully serene private balcony, you can enjoy alfresco meals and relax with your holiday read in one of the garden chairs. Fitness buffs are in luck, too, as there is a fabulous on-site gym for guests to make the most of 365 days a year too. 

Expect just as much excitement from the apartment's interior, too, as chic and contemporary designs present a truly comfortable space to kick back in between exploring the sights of Madrid.
