Overlooking the Bay of Pollensa, this villa surely has one of the best and most sought-after positions in all of Mallorca. Those panoramic views are complemented by easy access to the local beaches and a five-minute drive into the heart of Pollensa town, while the house itself is no slouch either. With a backdrop of palm trees and lush vegetation, this well-hidden home offers privacy and seclusion in a popular area of the island. Inside, there’s a subtle mid-century California vibe, especially in the large living area which features a high, beamed ceiling and low-slung picture windows. The glass dining table is surrounded by director’s chairs, and there’s a well-stocked bookcase to offer entertainment to the avid readers in your group. Of course, you may want to eschew indoor eating for out – there are several terraces to choose from when it comes to alfresco dining, and you’ll want to make sure to try out each one as they all offer a slightly different angle to that spectacular view. 

Sea and Be Seen

You’ve got the best of both worlds with this villa – blissful rural isolation, but just a five-minute drive from the bustling resort of Port de Pollença. Step inside and you’ll find a home that’s elegant but unfussy, with plenty of living space for the whole family. The star of the show here is undoubtedly the view – with a panorama over the sea and the entire bay, it really is quite special. Large windows and a wrap around balcony make sure you’ve got plenty of opportunities to soak it in, whether it's from the comfort of your bed or the bright and airy living room. Take the short drive to the resort for sea and sand, and a string of waterfront restaurants. Come back for a swim and a round of ping pong or sunbathing before a barbecue dinner. Spend your evenings on the terrace with a paella and a tasty Spanish red, watching the sun go down behind the mountains. 

Siesta Fiesta

Boasting panoramic views of Port de Pollença and the sea, this mountainside villa is really something special. Outside, two swimming pools and multiple terraces beckon you to bask in the sunshine – a glass of wine is optional. Head inside, and you'll find an abundance of traditional (though slightly dated) character – we're especially fond of the vaulted wooden ceilings. When you're ready to explore, you're just a short drive from the area's pretty beaches and the historic town centre.

Pollença Reverie

This charming 16th-century finca has been completely renovated into a relaxing holiday home. It’s situated between Pollensa and Puerta Pollensa in Sierra de Tramuntana, so you’ll have mountain views while also being close to beaches, restaurants, and markets. The finca used to be an oil mill and that historic charm has been retained – think classic stone walls and wooden beams. There’s a delightful terrace with a pergola, a great spot for alfresco dining, in addition to a heated swimming pool, where we’d be spending most of our time. You can also look forward to working up a sweat playing petanque and table tennis. 

The Olive Oil Mill

Bright and open, this Palma home isn’t just a gorgeous haven for beach lovers, it’s also a portal to some of the most beautiful hiking trails. Explore this Balearic island by enjoying sun-drenched beach days on Platja de Can Cap de Bou, or by walking scenic routes like Camí Boquer and Vall de Bóquer. 

Back home, you can bask in the sun by claiming a sun lounger and spending the day between tanning and dipping into the private pool to cool down. Stay hydrated with an ice-cold drink and read a holiday romance novel from under the brim of a floppy hat. 

Dine alfresco in the loggia and head around the front of the house to find a comfortable spot in which to enjoy evening drinks and nibbles. Most of the bedrooms lead out onto the balcony, so enjoy sunrises and fresh air out there as you nurse cups of coffee. 

Inside, you can fling the doors open to let fresh air into this amply lit space – spend lazy evenings watching movies or playing board games here, nipping to the kitchen every now and again to top up your drinks.

From Arch to Arch

This traditional villa is an ideal base if you’re looking for somewhere with a nearby beach and within walking distance of beautiful Port de Pollença, its picturesque coastline and great selection of eateries. While it’s not the most luxurious of our homes, it’s comfortable, well-equipped, and the private pool provides some welcome relief from the heat of the Spanish sun. The sandy beach at Roca de Llenaire is just a short walk away, perfect for those craving a complete coastal getaway. 

Time for Tradition

There’s a lot to like about this stylish Puerto Pollensa apartment – starting with a private rooftop terrace with views of the port. Granted, the kitchen and living area feels a little snug, but we can let that slide with so much outside space for alfresco living and a shared swimming pool moments away. Location-wise, you’re just 200 metres from the sandy beach, local shops, bars, and restaurants, and the famous Pine Walks is just a twenty-minute walk or a five-minute drive. Now, how’s that for a central location? 

The Stories of the Sea

Situated on a hillside in Puerto Pollensa, this sleek villa provides an unforgettable stay on Mallorca’s northern coast. You’ll be torn between reclining in the clean-lined, minimalist living space or soaking up the warm sunshine by the shimmering pool. And when it’s just too difficult to choose, we think the covered balcony makes for a perfect compromise. Spend balmy afternoons barbecuing on the terrace before slinking off for a siesta in the serene bedrooms. 

Should you fancy exploring, Can Cap de Bou Beach is within walking distance of your doorstep and the charming town of Alcúdia is a short drive away. Visit the Roman City of Pollentia and 14th-century Porta del Moll, then seek out a laid-back restaurant for a traditional Mallorcan dinner. Return home in the early evening to watch the sun set behind the Serra de Tramuntana after a rousing game of table tennis in the snug.

The bedrooms are just as snazzy and bright, with direct access to the balcony or terrace, so you can wake up to a morning coffee while taking in the view. 

When it's time to head out, follow the Roman steps onto your manicured garden and explore the local area from this desirable location. You're a ten-minute walk from the sandy beaches of Puerto Pollensa, with a selection of restaurants and bars to discover. 

Midnight Glow

Based in the quiet village of Las Palmeras, just a short stroll from the vibrant and fun-filled port city of Pollença, this gorgeous villa is ideal for those who want a laidback seaside stay, with some little luxuries thrown in for good measure. A quintessential Spanish villa, it features wooden shutter windows, traditional arches and ornate tiled flooring, giving it loads of character. You can spend whole days soaking up the sun in the beautiful backyard, with a private pool and poolside loungers for you to enjoy, as well as a covered terrace for alfresco feasting with friends and family. Inside, the home is calming and peaceful, ideal for resting in between the busy days spent exploring.

Golfers and beach seekers – this is the home for you. Just 1.7km from the beach and a short drive from Golf Pollença, there’s plenty to keep you entertained here. That’s if you can tear yourself away from the Mediterranean garden, sun-kissed terraces and private pool back at home, of course. Inside, the traditional style may not be everyone’s cup of tea but there’s plenty of space for eight guests – just bear in mind that two beds are on the mezzanine level, so lack privacy.
