With a prime location for exploring the city, it serves as a convenient base for a small family or group of friends. You’ll find this penthouse apartment in the heart of Seville on the historic Feria Street. The pad has everything you need to show up and start living – there’s a well-equipped kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms. The fifth guest will sleep on the mezzanine level above the living area, so it’s not the most private and due to the sloping ceilings, we think the space is better suited for a child. Outside, you’ll find a furnished terrace – the ideal spot for sundowners. Head into your local area for shops, bars and restaurants or walk a little further for attractions such as the Cathedral, Alcázar and Metropol Parasol.

This modern apartment piqued our interest with its stylish interiors, ample-sized living spaces and excellent location. We think it's a fantastic place to come home to after an afternoon exploring Seville. Kick off your shoes and make yourself comfortable on the cushy sofas (a glass of Cava, optional), then when you're feeling peckish, rustle up tapas and other delicious dishes in the jade green kitchen. All the creature comforts are accounted for – Nespresso machine, rainfall shower, smart TV – but our favourite part is the window overlooking La Giralda bell tower. With views like that, you can't help but love this cosy hideaway.

Best of all, you'll find this flat in the historic city centre, next to the Cathedral of Seville. From this spot, sightseeing is easy – the Royal Alcázar is right down the street, Maestranza bullring is walkable in five minutes and Plaza de España is just fifteen minutes on foot. A countless array of bars, independent shops and mouth-watering restaurants are all nearby – as far as locales go, you couldn't ask for better.

When your feet can no longer carry you after a day of sightseeing, make the short journey home and relax on the plush sofa. You could pick something up from one of the local food shops nearby and whip up something good in the well-equipped kitchen to be enjoyed around the luxurious dining table, or head out to try out delectable Andalusian cuisine. When you're energised and ready to explore, your location in Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter, puts you in a wonderful position to see the city. The neighbourhood itself is vibrant, with Spanish and Moorish-style buildings awash with bright colours. There's so much history to delve into –you even have remains of large granite columns from the Roman period right next to your building. You can also explore the Catedral de Sevilla, the Giralda, and the Alcázar with ease and on foot. When all of the sightseeing and walking gets you hungry, Santa Cruz is teeming with small traditional tapas and sangria bars.

Just a five-minute walk from the Cathedral of Seville and a stone’s throw from Setas de Sevilla, you’ve got many of the city’s highlights within easy reach, not to mention a wide selection of eateries and shops just beyond your door. Between shopping excursions and sightseeing, however, you’ll find your home’s sunny balcony a great spot to enjoy a glass of Spanish wine, and the leafy communal courtyard offers a calm, shaded spot to regroup before setting back out for some more city exploring.

The rooftop steals the limelight, yet the whole apartment is infused with character. Bold colours decorate the living space and deluxe fittings exude a sense of modern comfort. You'll love the homely vibe, yet we appreciate that you didn't come to Seville to stay indoors. Luckily, you're expertly placed to explore this charming metropolis.

The iconic landmarks are within walking distance, whilst the immediate neighbourhood of Santa Cruz is shaped by authentic cafes, bars and restaurants. Opt for a day of sightseeing, stopping off for a glass of beer or sangria, before sitting down for paella come the evening.

Overlooking the Plaza de San Francisco, this characterful apartment is an excellent base for a small family or close-knit group of friends. Seville’s best-loved sights, including the Royal Alcázar and the Giralda, are within walking distance, and the Plaza Nueva tram stop is just a couple of hundred metres away. The home features small balconies overlooking the hustle and bustle, two comfortable bedrooms with plenty of storage and a fully-equipped kitchen. You may need to contact your host for information on how to use the appliances, though, as an instruction manual wasn’t provided when we visited.

The Great Seville

Sitting within the old town quarter of El Arenal, this striking apartment not only puts you in a wonderfully central spot from which to explore the city, but also offers a delightfully sunny base catering to the best of Sevillian living. 

Step into the open-plan living area to be met with glossy marble floors, tall ceilings and an elegant mix of classic and contemporary decor. We love the amount of natural light that pours into the space from the wood-panelled French doors that open out onto pretty Juliet balconies. The bedrooms, meanwhile, are just as chic with their statement walls and pared-back, yet refined aesthetic, inviting you to sleep soundly in their comfortable beds. 

Our favourite spot, however, is the sun-soaked private terrace accessed from the hallway. With incredible views of the Catedral de Sevilla and La Giralda, this is the ideal spot to begin mornings over coffee and locally bought pastries or to end each evening with a celebratory drink as the sun sets over the city. 

When you’re not too busy soaking up the rays on your private terrace, make a beeline for the nearby sights, of which there are many – the cathedral is a mere 450 metres away, the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla is 290 metres away and the beautiful Royal Alcázar of Seville is also just 450 metres from your door. 


Santo Sol

Seville's beautiful cathedral stands proud in the striking skyline, and you have the best view from the privacy of your own rooftop terrace. Whether you're lounging on the comfy cushions or sharing tapas on the dining table, the terrace is an idyllic spot throughout the day. 

We particularly loved spending sunset there, watching the dreamy tones turn the sky into a dusty red. If you wanted to invite guests over for drinks and dinner, it's the perfect space.

Inside from the terrace, you'll find an open-plan living space that's tailor-made for couples or small families. Two chairs are tucked under the tv and a deluxe sofa faces the floor-to-ceiling terrace doors. Cute and cosy, it's a snug spot to relax in the evenings with a book and a hot drink. 

As much as we think you'll love the intimate vibe of the apartment, you didn't come to Seville to stay inside. Luckily, you're expertly placed to explore the city. The cathedral and the Giralda are just a minute away by foot, giving you instant access to the jewels of the city.

For those who want to venture further afield, free parking is available here. Inside the home, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. And given its ground-floor position and wide doorways, it could be an excellent choice for those with limited mobility. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the host, who will check you in and provide local tips and tricks.

Packed with light-filled energy and positive vibes, this gorgeous apartment nestled between Seville's historic Francos and Chapineross streets is an idyllic base from which to soak up the city. 

We love the tasteful pops of colour injected throughout the designs of this home, as paired with the space's light, inviting atmosphere – you'll be making yourself at home in a wonderfully pleasing aesthetic. 

Spread across two floors, the duplex layout of the apartment presents enough space for a group of up to six guests to come together in a stylish setting. 

However, the cherry on the cake is revealed when you make your way up to the rooftop terrace. Here you'll find comfortable furniture as well as sweeping views of the cathedral and Giralda tower. Not to mention the endless array of sunshine found up here to soak up in between excursions out in Seville. 

Located just a few meters from the likes of Seville's famous Cathedral, Giralda Tower, Alcázar, Archivo de Indias and the Torre del Oro – you'll be well-positioned for discovering the city's sights on foot. Meanwhile, there'll be little need to step foot on public transport when it comes to eating out, as there are a variety of tapas bars and Andalusian restaurants also in the local area.

Although this apartment sits in the middle of Seville, you can immediately dismiss any preconceptions of cramped accommodation that is all too often found in city centres – this home is generous with space, both inside and out.

There's an elegant feel to the open-concept living-dining area, with stark white walls adorned with large pieces of vibrant artwork and shiny tiling underfoot reflecting the natural light that streams in through the French doors. Throughout the rest of the home, there's a minimalist approach to decoration, especially in the smart kitchen and bright bedrooms.

One asset that's sure to win you over is the terrace complete with an alfresco dining table and a separate lounge area that sits underneath a thatched roof. It's a perfectly peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle of Seville's streets, which lie just outside the front door. The huge collection of artefacts in the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de Santa Isabel de Hungría gallery sits just across the street, while the gothic cathedral is only three minutes' walk away.


In the Middle of it All

Take in the views over Seville from this home’s shared terrace (it’s used by six other apartments, so expect chatter from other guests when all the apartments are occupied). Inside, you’ll find stylish interiors and a main bedroom with a Juliet balcony (but note, guests five and six will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room). We love this 19th-century building’s Spanish ceramic tile façade too. Check it out as you leave to explore this city’s attractions, many of which are within walking distance. Or just have an amble around this apartment’s neighbourhood, Triana. You’ll find the vibrant Mercado de Triana here, with its food stalls and small eateries.

Seville in Orange

This newly renovated home in Seville’s central Arenal neighbourhood is an absolute winner. The epitome of stylish sophistication, this elegant abode features a lovely light-filled open plan living and dining area with a modern built-in kitchen, ideal for whipping up a light lunch, and a Juliet balcony overlooking the sunny street – the perfect place to people-watch.  

You’ll want to make the most of this home’s prime location at the heart of this seductive Spanish city. With so much to see and do within walking distance, why not start by visiting the famous Torre del Oro, a majestic former defence tower once connected to the old city’s walls or La Maestranza, a veritable bullfighting cathedral, followed by El Postigo, a bustling market selling hand-crafted goods? If your boots aren’t made for too much walking, stop for tapas and a glass of local orange wine at one of many restaurants nearby. Situated next to the Guadalquivir River, in the historic Triana neighbourhood, you'll have no trouble sinking into serene Sevillian living at this stylish apartment. With three comfortable bedrooms, an elegant dining area and even your own little terrace, it's perfectly suited for groups of friends or families after an authentic stay. 

Step inside, and you'll find an impressive open-plan living space, bathed in natural light. The cushy sofa is the ideal spot to flop down with a good book or chat with your guests over a glass of Rioja. Wood floors and neutral tones shape the space as a whole, while the vibrant artwork and velvet seating really bring the home to life. 

The surrounding Barrio is a haven for singers, dancers, artists and artisans, so staying here will suit creative types and culture-seekers perfectly. Walk over the bridge and reach central Seville in no time. You're a twenty-two-minute stroll from the Setas de Sevilla, while the fourteenth-century Moorish-Christian Alcazar Palace is the same distance in the opposite direction.

We adore the gorgeous views of Seville Cathedral and the Giralda tower from this home’s private terrace. It’s the perfect spot for a glass of tinto de Verano as the sun sets in this sultry city. Inside, you can take in the vistas of the neighbourhood from the balconies. We love the light and bright interiors here. Rustle up some cazón en adobo (spicy fried fish) in the modern kitchen if you don’t fancy eating out at one of the many tapas bars or restaurants in the locale.

Located in the heart of the city, Seville Cathedral is 450 metres away, while the Barrio Santa Cruz is 400 metres. Other attractions nearby include Puente de Triana and the 13th century Torre del Oro, 750 and 500 metres away, respectively.

 Located in the famous Arenal neighbourhood of Seville, the apartment resides on the first floor of a restored Sevillian house. On one of the quieter streets of this sought-after area, you'll still be close to lots of bars, restaurants, shops and, of course, the stunning architecture of Seville. Not to mention monuments such as the Cathedral, the Alcázar, and the Giralda, which are just a few minutes walking distance from the apartment.

Housed in a historic building close to the Cathedral, the Giralda and the Torre del Oro, this thoughtfully designed apartment places Seville’s cultural hotspots on your doorstep. Two guests will need to share the living room’s sofa bed at full capacity, and the bedroom doesn’t have as much wardrobe space as we’d like. But we appreciate the boho chic decor here and the sweet Juliet balcony is a nice touch too. Perfect for those looking to drop their bags and spend their days exploring, this pad puts sightseeing front and centre.

With two outside spaces and an enviable downtown location, this bright apartment is ideal for first-time visitors and return travellers alike. Inside, it’s comfortable and practical. There’s an open-plan living area with comfortable seating and a fully-equipped kitchen with all the accoutrements you need for plating up home-made tapas. Spend warm afternoons on your terrace snoozing in the hammock or kicking back on the rattan couch with an iced coffee in hand. 

When you’re ready to explore, stroll over to Seville Cathedral by way of the Plaza del Triunfo, then relax with a small picnic in the landscaped Jardines de Murillo. Sitting slap-bang in the middle of Seville, there are so many cultural attractions, tapas bars and noteworthy sights in the streets surrounding this apartment's building that you might just find you spend the bulk of your time outside the home. 

As such, it can be forgiven that the interior lies a little on the dated side. Not embarrassingly so, but perhaps a little off-puttingly for those with a keen eye for style. For everybody else, there's plenty to like about the space itself, especially if you're travelling solo or as a couple. The glossy kitchen is a world away from the cramped surfaces all too often seen in similarly central addresses, while the living room is generously sized, too. Out through the French doors, there's a small balcony that's fit for a blast of fresh air or a spot of people-watching on the streets below, but not much more.

As already mentioned, the location is probably the biggest draw here. The Flamenco Dance Museum is two minutes' walk around the corner, while the gothic cathedral takes double that time. If you're ever craving a bit of green space, Murillo Gardens is a ten-minute stroll away.

In a city like Seville with its fair share of opulent architecture, it only feels fitting to stay somewhere with a palatial feel. This home in the centre of Seville more than fits the bill on that front.

Accessed by a pretty tiled courtyard surrounded by a verandah, the interior benefits from high coffered ceilings, tall windows and smart parquet flooring, while there's a collection of chic furnishings, vibrant artworks and eye-catching lighting that all score well in the style stakes. Although there's an innate sense of history inside, much of the home leans on the contemporary side, especially the glossy kitchen and bathrooms.
