We love the natural textures here, from the wicker Acapulco chairs to the long wooden dining table, as well as the windows’ Juliet balconies that invite you to perch by them with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. 

The main bedroom is similarly bright with its tall windows and generously-sized bed, while its cosy alcove offers a desk space that’s ideal for those looking to catch up on work during their stay. 

Outside of your home, you’ve got plenty to see and do within easy walking distance, including the Cathedral Saint-Pierre de Rennes, the Parlement de Bretagne and the Musée des Beaux-Arts.

The Cathedral Saint-Pierre de Rennes is just footsteps from your doorstep and the Musée de Bretagne is only a short walk away. Pore over works by Picasso, Botticelli and Rubens in the Musée des Beaux-Arts before treating yourself to a glass of wine in a local bar.

When you’re ready to explore, grab a croissant from your local boulangerie, then stroll along the banks of the River Vilaine. Next, sample some local Briton delicacies and regional specialities at an authentic bistrot before catching a performance at the Rennes Opera House.

Whether you’re starting mornings here with a sunny alfresco breakfast or enjoying some local fromage and vin rouge in the evenings, you’ll love having this calm space to retreat to as you listen to the pealing bells of the nearby Cathedral Saint-Pierre.

Aside from the beautiful cathedral that’s just a stone’s throw away, you’re also well-positioned to explore the Portes Mordelaises, the Musée des Beaux-Arts and the Parlement de Bretagne.
