This sleek, light-filled hideaway puts golden sands, harbourfront cafes and scenic coastal trails right on your doorstep. Reserved exclusively for family groups, it’s a top-notch spot for blending adventure with laid-back seaside living. Inside, two generous living rooms give everyone space to spread out, while a dedicated children’s bedroom with three single beds makes it especially well-suited to multi-generational stays. Spend your days beachcombing, paddleboarding and kayaking, with the shore just a ten-minute walk away. As evening draws in, sink into the hot tub, fire up the barbecue, or wander into the village for harbourfront dining and sunset views.

Harbour Retreat Restful

Set right on the sands at Wiseman’s Bridge, this stylish coastal retreat puts the sea firmly front and centre. Step outside and the beach is yours to explore – from rock pools and paddleboarding to coastal walks along the Pembrokeshire Path – with a friendly pub just moments away. Inside, the apartment is compact but cleverly designed, with an open-plan living space that feels light, airy and perfectly framed by the sea views. The balcony is a little front-row perch for sunrise coffees or evening drinks as the waves lap below. With Saundersfoot and Tenby just a short drive away, it’s a simple, laid-back hideaway for couples or small families who want the beach as their own backyard.

Beach Haven Bay

Overlooking Tenby's South Beach, this apartment on the lower-ground floor of a handsome yellow building is ideal for those who want to be able to go from their front door to the seaside in a matter of seconds, rather than minutes.

Aside from this proximity to the sea, we found lots else to like about the home. The design is pared-back and sophisticated, with parquet floors, white walls and a selection of chic furnishings creating the relaxed ambience of a high-end hotel's lobby. The baby-blue kitchen is both super-sleek and big enough for cooking up hearty meals, while there's also a private courtyard outside just in case the weather's nice enough to dine alfresco.

If that's the case, there's plenty to see and do in this south Welsh idyll. Tenby Castle is only ten minutes' walk up the coast, as is the town's Museum and Art Gallery. This area by the North Beach is also where you can catch a ferry to Caldey Island, on which you can visit the monastery and spot some of the diverse wildlife.

 

Master Draughtsman

Discover the beauty of the South Pembrokeshire from this stunning beachfront base, situated in the small seaside resort of Saundersfoot. More compact than nearby Tenby, which lies a few miles to the south, the place has a unique charm all of its own.

South-facing sea views grab all the headlines here, with large windows in the open layout living area/kitchen, plus direct access to a private balcony ensuring you can make the most of the unparalleled location. 

The interior decor is no less eye-catching, with mid-century style leather seating, a wood burner set into the wall, plus a subtle maritime theme, with hints of blue and wood cladding that reminded us of the side of a beach hut.

Sharing the open-plan space is the kitchen, with the sink set up so you can look out at the waves as you wash up the bits and pieces that won't fit in the dishwasher. Rather sensibly, the hob and oven face the opposite way, to minimise distractions. With dinner ready, it's down to you to plate up and grab a seat at the rustic yet elegant dining table.

Elsewhere, the two bedrooms keep up with the nods to the nautical setting, with striped wallpaper and sea-themed artwork adorning the walls.

In addition to the expansive beach, the old tramway route that connected the coal port to mines at Stepsaside survives as a spectacular section of the picturesque Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It's 186 miles long in total, but we'd recommend dipping in and out to walk along particularly panoramic parts.

Those who prefer their outdoor activities more action-packed will find some of Pembrokeshire's finest surf spots within a twenty-mile drive. A particular standout is Freshwater West, which is hailed by many as the most reliable break in the land of dragons and daffodils.



Stroll Along the Strand

There’s a reason why the Welsh coastal town of Tenby in South Pembrokeshire continues to rank amongst the UK’s top British seaside resorts. Leave the crowds of Cornwall behind and discover its charm for yourself with a stay at this luxury lodge nestled in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Part of an exclusive development on the periphery of Tenby, you can expect high-end holiday accommodation in a peaceful village location. Tenby’s award-winning South Beach is just a short 10-minute walk away. And should you ever tire of Tenby (though we’re not sure how),  the seaside village of Saundersfoot and the market town of Narberth are just a 20-minute drive away. How’s that for a location? Back at the lodge, you’ll find sleek, modern interiors and high-spec finishes throughout. With each of the three bedrooms boasting luxurious en-suites, we think this lodge would suit guests holidaying with extended family or friends rather well. Opening up the French doors leading to the furnished terrace reveals stunning countryside views and a very welcome surprise - a bubbling private hot tub on the deck. The perfect spot to unwind after a busy day exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.

From Tenby With Love

This seaside cottage caught our eye for its location. Situated in popular Tenby, you’ll be within strolling distance of sandy North Beach, Tenby Castle, and the shops and eateries in the town centre. The home itself boasts an open-plan living area – perfect for sociable meals and relaxing evenings in front of the wood burner – and a private patio. While the cosy bunk bed room is great for kids, it isn’t suitable for adults. With that in mind, we think this place is best suited to a family, or two couples, wanting a comfortable base in a central spot. 

Sandy Bay Getaway

This sophisticated, monochromatic home in the heart of Tenby allows you to rise with the sun as light pours in through the skylight above the comfortable bed. Just because you’re awake, however, doesn’t mean you have to get out of bed. Stroll to the sleek kitchen for a cup of coffee and get back under the covers to read by the natural light whilst the kids are still peacefully asleep in the loft. 

After a Full English breakfast, make your way to the sandy beaches of this beautiful harbour town and spend the day sunbathing, watching the kids play in the salty surf, and trying every possible combination of soft serve. Explore the quaint shops and cafes surrounding this home and when exhaustion sets in, make your way back home with a takeaway box of fresh fish and chips that you can enjoy at the little breakfast bar. 

Play a few rounds of UNO on the lounge floor, and once the kids are all tucked in, sink into the comfortable corner sofa with a glass of wine and your all-time favourite movie as you put your feet up for some well-deserved relaxation. 

The Tenby Connection

Only a two-minute walk from the award-winning South Beach, this home is primely located for a visit to Tenby. Offering spectacular views of South Beach all the way towards Caldey Island, this luxury apartment has an open-plan living area at its heart. Unwind in the large sitting area while the chef of the group enjoys plenty of counter space in the kitchen. Large French doors open up to the terrace where you can capture stunning panoramic coastal views while soaking in the luxurious hot tub. Each of the bedrooms also have doors that open onto the terrace overlooking the ocean and nearby golf course, where you can get a few swings in when you've clocked in more than enough beach time.

Down by the Seaside

Just a short stroll from Saundersfoot’s beach and harbour, this home is perfect for a family getaway on the Pembrokeshire coast. Homely and equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay, there’s plenty of space for everyone to spread out here. You’ll enjoy this home whatever time of year you visit. In winter months you can snuggle up by the log burner after a day on the coast, and the generous garden is ideal for summer, where barbecues and alfresco dining are a must. 

The Sea on My Mind

You’ll find this quaint blue and white cottage in the heart of Tenby, a mere five-minute stroll from the breezy swathes of North Beach. Inside, it’s effortlessly stylish yet supremely comfortable with a wood-burning stove in the living room and a convivial kitchen made for family life. There’s a boot room that ensures a no-stress entrance for muddy wellies and three quiet bedrooms that guarantee a restful night’s sleep. 

Outside, the enclosed garden with decking area is the perfect place for barbecues on sunny afternoons. Take advantage of the glorious weather and follow the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to Saundersfoot or mosey into town to get your culture fix at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery. As dusk starts to fall, pick up a bag of golden fish and chips to be enjoyed by the harbour, less than a fifteen-minute walk from your doorstep.

Daisy Cottage

With its baby blue timber exterior, the long shady verandah that skirts around the side of the house and the verdant surroundings, you could be excused for thinking this house was in the Deep South. And it is in a way, just not the USA. It's actually in the deep south of Wales, part of Trefloyne Manor Golf Course and Spa. Guests can access both of these facilities for an extra fee, as well as the bar and restaurant which sit just a few minutes' walk away. The inside of the home has the feel of a secluded forest cabin, thanks to the wooden ceilings, floors and walls. However, the smart design of the address means it can adapt to the seasons — there's underfloor heating for the colder months and glass doors leading out to a balcony for when the sun makes an appearance. When the weather does look bright, Tenby's South Beach can be reached in fifteen minutes on foot, while the town of Penally can be reached in twenty.
