This picturesque apartment is exactly what you'd expect of a Positano home, located right in the heart of Positano’s winding streets and just a short walk to the beach. On the long balcony, you'll find an outdoor shower overlooking the bay – so you can enjoy the view as you rinse off after a morning of sea and sand. The kitchen is only little, but with so many authentic restaurants nearby, you’ll hardly need it. With the rest of the Amalfi Coast easily reachable by bus, you'll have everything you need in this home (just be prepared for the climb up to it).

It truly looks like a villa fit for Italian royalty. With all the historic charm, the house is not short on modern facilities, providing you with everything you need for a home-from-home stay. We absolutely love the kitchen and dining area, adorned with colourful tiles and majestic columns – the ideal place to enjoy Italian breakfasts before heading out to explore. We also love the main bedroom, with a four-poster bed that will make you feel like you’re in a fairy tale.

The terrace is impressive, too – covered to provide some shade from the sun, it features stunning views as well as dining and lounging areas where you can sit with a sundowner in hand and take it all in.

A Palace in Positano

Positano is one of the most beautiful towns to be found along the Amalfi Coast and if you don't believe us, stepping out onto the balcony of this hillside home and gazing out at the gorgeous view of the locale below and the Tyrrhenian Sea stretching on into the distance will change your mind.

As well as this impressive outdoor space, you might just find that you're charmed by the living quarters as well. There's something about the whitewashed walls and patterned tiling that's instantly bright and welcoming, as is the addition of a few pieces of nautically-inspired artwork and quirky decorative items. The kitchen might not be the largest, but there's enough space for whipping up modest meals and the coastal view out through the window will please those on cooking duties.

When it comes to making some holiday memories, both Grande and Fornillo beaches are 650 metres from the home, and there's a good selection of restaurants even closer. In the wider area, you'll find mountains to hike along with some truly breathtaking views to act as a reward.

The picture perfect town of Positano is famous for its colourful cliffsides, and this delightful apartment is no exception – indeed, you'll need to be comfortable descending down a steep path to even reach the entrance. Once you've accessed the gated community and made your way through the front door, you'll find artistic air-conditioned interiors, including a living room, open kitchen, and two cosy double bedrooms. There's even more to appreciate outside, with a private terrace perfect for scenic breakfasts, access to a shared swimming pool, and a direct (if rugged) path down to a small sandy beach. Positano's own beach is only ten minutes on foot, while Sorrento and other charming Amalfi towns can be reached by car in under an hour.
