Relaxing here is just as easy as exploring – minimal designs and plenty of leafy green plants create a soothing space to kick back in. The location of this apartment couldn’t be much better. It’s just a short stroll from many of Florence’s most popular landmarks and attractions. We’re talking the Duomo, the Baptistery of St. John, the Museo Leonardo Da Vinci, just to name a few. Of course, you’ll be surrounded by boutiques, cafes and restaurants – handy, as the modern kitchen is on the smaller side. Although this pad is compact, it has everything you need for a fuss-free break. We think it's a great option if you're in town to see the city's most iconic sights.

Duomo & Museums

This home may be compact, with no separate living area, but we doubt you’ll miss it – there’s so much happening right outside your door. You’re moments from the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, and Florence’s bustling piazzas. Cafes, trattorias, and artisan boutiques line the streets, perfect for people-watching or grabbing a quick bite. The kitchenette is best for light meals, though with so many dining options nearby, you might barely need it.

The Florentine Hour

The location of this beautiful apartment is fantastic – you’ll be right opposite the Galleria Dell'Accademia. A short stroll away, you’ll also find the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza Signoria, to mention just a few places. Situated in a historic building on the second floor without a lift, this special home is worth the climb. The apartment is owned by the art director of the newspaper "The Florentine" and is filled with artworks. The living area is a great place to relax after exploring the city – this room also sleeps two guests on a sofa bed at full occupancy. We love the views over Via dei Ricasoli too. This place is perfect for discovering the city’s rich culture, history, and art.

This elegant apartment is the perfect place to stay in Florence. It’s stylish yet comfortable, housed in a stately building just outside of the historic centre of the city. The apartment has been recently renovated – it’s a beautiful home from home with a grandeur that’s fitting for a city as stunning as Firenze. 

The vaulted ceilings with frescoes will make you feel as though you’re staying in one of the grand palazzos of days gone by. Huge windows keep the apartment bright and airy, and modern furnishings mean that although it feels historic, everything you need is right at your fingertips. 

In the morning, stroll eight minutes to Giardino della Fortezza to begin your day with a moment of calm. Sip coffee and eat a pastry or two while you plan how you’ll spend your stay. Perhaps you’ll walk first to the Duomo to admire the architecture of the cathedral – it takes fourteen minutes. In the afternoon, after you’ve taken in a museum or a gallery, you might like to hop in a cab to Piazzale Michelangelo. It takes fifteen minutes to get arguably the best view of the city. 

Head back to the apartment to sip a glass of Chianti and relax. Sink into the sofa as you deliberate dinner – will it be pizza or pasta?

So close you could almost reach out and touch it, the home’s proximity to the Duomo isn’t the only thing going for this Florentine pad. An electric fireplace in the living room, a four-poster bed, as well as an upstairs studio with a desk and access to a terrace are all highlights here. And thanks to the home’s prime position in the heart of the city, you’ve got countless historic and cultural hotspots to visit within easy walking distance.

This home is just a short stroll from one of Florence’s main attractions, Duomo di Firenze. And thanks to its central location, you’ll be able to walk to many of the city’s other must-sees too. The apartment centres around a sociable, open-plan living area. The kitchenette may be small, but it has everything you’ll need to whip up a meal to enjoy at the dining table. And if you fancy eating alfresco, just step onto the small private terrace. It’s worth noting that at full capacity, guests two and three will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living area, so privacy will be limited.

The Galleria dell’Accademia, home to Michelangelo’s David, is a stone’s throw away, and you can easily stroll to Piazza del Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Add in how many restaurants and bars there are close by, and you’ll see why we love this apartment, even with two guests sleeping on a sofa bed in the living space. It’s bright and attractive, with simple decor and comfortable beds – perfect for a city break. 

Florentine Flourish

It’s all about the location at this petit apartment in Florence. The striking Duomo – the emblem of the city – is just a two-minute stroll away and the streets surrounding the apartment are home to trattoria serving Tuscan cuisine, bars for appertivo and art galleries and old churches galore. Slipping straight from the historic streets to your bolthole, you’ll find a simple spot to put your feet up. While it won’t win any awards for decor, the convenient touches (bedside alcoves, big kitchen cupboards) are appreciated. You can't beat the location, though.
