With its slightly kitsch, pop art-inspired aesthetic, Rush Grande won’t appeal to everyone, but it has an undeniable sense of playfulness, and you can’t argue with a location like that. The flat is surrounded by Renaissance architecture, with both the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio a few minutes away on foot. The structure itself also fits into the category, and the wooden beams are a nice touch that keep the interior grounded in the area’s history, even if the contrast with the art is striking.


Rush Grande

Right in the middle of Florence, just steps away from the Galleria dell’Accademia – the home of Michelangelo's David – this three-bedroom home awaits its next lucky guests. The undisputed highlight is its secret oasis: a private courtyard, complete with outdoor furniture, a tranquil garden, and your very own pool – a true rarity this close to the centre of the city. Inside, you’ll find no fewer pleasant surprises. There's the charmingly cosy living space, a fully-equipped kitchen, and three comfortable bedrooms, all affirming this home as a peaceful getaway from the bustle of the city. But when you’re ready to explore, Florence is right on your doorstep – all the best sights are easily walkable.

A Florentine Oasis

You’ll be staying in the very heart of Florence here, just moments from the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio. This historic apartment combines centuries-old beauty with all your modern home comforts – think restored 12th-century frescoes alongside a sleek fitted kitchen. The main living space does the heavy lifting, with plenty of natural light illuminating the original architectural features. It’s a unique and atmospheric base for exploring the city on foot, ideal for families or close friends wanting to experience Florence’s beauty up close.

Palazzo Fresco

Immerse yourself in all that the magical city of Florence has to offer with a stay at this charming apartment situated right at the heart of the old town, just steps away from the iconic Duomo. Located in a historic building, this place retains all of its vintage charm while at the same time boasting modern comforts and luxury to make your holiday extra restful. 

Enter through the front door to be greeted by a bright living space, with floods of natural light gently streaming in through the large windows. We love the high ceilings with their white wooden beams – what could be more authentically Florentine than that? You’ll find plenty of room to kick off your shoes and relax on the comfy sofa which at night can be pulled out to serve as a double bed. The kitchenette may be small in scale but it has all you need to whip up a quick and delicious supper or breakfast, which you can then enjoy with your loved ones at the elegant dining table by the window. 

When you also consider the plush and luxurious bedrooms, with their soft beds and lovely pale tones, as well as the spa-like ambience of the modern bathrooms, you know that you have all you need to have a relaxing stay. 

Start your day with a fresh cup of Italian coffee before heading out to discover the many gems of Florence – aside from the proximity to the Duomo you’ll also be a three-minute walk away from the Bargello Museum, which houses many of Michelangelo's masterpieces. 

The Green Dome 

This apartment is housed in a Renaissance tower in the heart of Florence, just 50 metres from Piazza della Signoria. The apartment is simple in style, comfortable without being fussy. There's space to gather together in the open-plan living space and kitchen, though with so many restaurants nearby, you won't need to cook unless you really want to. The central location is the star of the show here, putting you within walking distance of the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, as well as boutiques and gelaterias. 

Florentine Modern

Nestled in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Florence, this charming apartment exudes elegance and sophistication from every corner. Without doubt, the standout feature is the frescoed ceiling – to say it’s a work of art feels like an understatement. The detail is exquisite, and you’re likely to spend many hours lying back on the comfortable sofas, gazing up and simply admiring its beauty. Dressed in neutral colours and with a unique selection of animal artwork adorning the walls, this apartment will quickly become a calming haven to retreat to after a busy day exploring the picturesque city on your doorstep. 

Dining out and sampling the delicious Italian cuisine is a must, but when you just fancy a quiet night in, the sleek grey kitchen is more than capable of testing out your culinary skills. When you do feel like venturing out, you can soak up the stunning architecture of many of Florence’s most well-known buildings with Palazzo Strozzi, Santa Maria Novella and the Palazzo Vecchio just some of the delights within walking distance.

Paint Me a Picture

Nestled in the heart of Florence’s historical centre, you’ll find bars, restaurants, and shops aplenty on the doorstep, as well as the city’s oldest market. And with Duomo di Firenze, Boboli Gardens, and Ponte Vecchio all within walking distance, you won’t have to venture far to explore they city’s must-sees. We love the traditional features in this home but the bedroom doesn’t have a door so privacy here is limited. It’s also worth noting that it’s on the third floor, without a lift. If climbing sixty-five steps to the front door isn’t a deal-breaker, we think this place is a great find for a couple or solo traveller seeking a central spot.

 The Pillars of Florence

When we say that this flat is in the heart of Florence, we mean it. Just a few moments away is the bustling Piazza della Signori (a three-minute walk, to be precise), while the red-tiled dome of the iconic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is only eight minutes on foot. Monuments and museums, boutiques and bars, restaurants and the River Arno – it's all within easy reach and practically on your doorstep, so if sightseeing is on your to-do list, you couldn't ask for better.

After a wander around the city followed by a delicious Italian dinner, come home to this cosy flat and kick off your shoes. It's a bit of a climb, we're not going to lie – you'll find it on the third floor of a historic building – but the inviting space is well-worth the trek. Pour yourself a glass of wine and admire the rooftop views standing on the Juliet balcony, then make your way to the comfortable bedrooms for a restful night's sleep. The mezzanine also has a single bed, which we think is best for older children. All in all, not a bad place to call home in the Tuscan capital.

Florentine Holiday

Putting practicality over ornate furnishings, this functional Florentine apartment is comfortable and benefits from an exceptional location. Ideal for couples interested in cuisine, culture or romance, the home offers a good sized double bedroom with its own balcony (where you'll find the washing machine) and en-suite bathroom. The living area is straightforward, with a TV, dining table, and sofa bed for a third guest, while the kitchen is slightly cramped with a semi-obtrusive column and forgoes bulkier white goods like ovens and dishwashers. Head out the front door and you'll be right in the heart of Florence, with major attractions like the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore reachable in ten minutes.

Delicate Vista

Stay within walking distance of the sights when you check in to this elegant apartment. It’s a stylish space to come home to after a long day exploring Florence, with the bonus of a kitchen for homemade breakfasts or casual dinners. We also love the double jacuzzi bath in one of the bathrooms, because what better way to soothe those tired sightseeing muscles than with a relaxing soak? Situated just six minutes’ walk from the Piazza del Duomo, it’s right in the heart of the historic city, yet feels satisfyingly serene once you shut the door and settle in.

The Golden Dove

Marrying contemporary design with Italian flair, this apartment is a stylish base in the heart of Florence. The living space boasts modern artwork and a small kitchen. That said, with delicious eateries nearby, dining out will likely be on the cards. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms ensure there's plenty of privacy, too. However, the location is what makes this place a real star. A stroll in one direction will take you to Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Galleries. Head the opposite way to see the striking Basilica di Santa Croce and historic Teatro Verdi. Exploring on foot is a breeze here – it's perfect for those keen in the centre of the action.
