Immerse yourself in the luxury of this lakefront villa on the shores of Lake Como. The vistas from the private pool, balcony and garden, as well as from inside are stunning. There’s a large living space perfect for families or a group of friends and the accommodation is split over several floors. We love the professional-style kitchen which can be used by the cook in the family or by a private chef if you wish.  The lake is a short stroll away when you want to explore – your host can arrange boat rentals if you’d like to experience the area from the water. Also, within walking distance is the village of Laglio, with its pastel-coloured houses, vineyards and olive groves.

White Elegance

One glance at those Lake Como views and you'll fall in love with this cosy and romantic flat. There's nothing better than sitting around the dining table, sipping wine, nibbling on antipasti and watching the water ebb and flow out the window. Later on, snuggle up on the cushy sofas with a book or get comfortable in the bedrooms, resting up for an adventure-filled day. The design is a delightful mishmash of mid-century modern, classic Italian character and clean, contemporary style. Although it's compact, the cheery yellow kitchen is sure to put a smile on your face as you're rustling up breakfast, and with two showers, you won't have to worry about queuing in the mornings.

Location-wise, Carate Urio has oodles of old-world charm and an authentic, local atmosphere. Enjoy a cappuccino right by the water, then sprawl out on the small beach for a spot of sunbathing and swimming. In the evenings, stroll along the steeped, winding lanes in the village before grabbing a bite to eat at the traditional restaurants. And when you fancy exploring further afield, catch the ferry from Urio's dock (only a short walk away) to travel to Como.

By the Light of the Lake

You’ll find this apartment a mere one-minute walk from the shores of Lake Como. Here, there are a variety of dining options and shops to discover, while Giardino della Valle and the Villa Erba exhibition and trade centre are also a short stroll away. The home itself has modern decor, and the open-plan living space sleeps guests three and four on a sofa bed. There’s also a terrace area filled with palms to enjoy the Italian sun. Last but not least, there’s free parking in a private garage – this place is great for exploring Lombardy.

Lake Como Hideaway

Welcome to this scenic home in Moltrasio. With sweeping views of Lake Como, you couldn't ask for a more perfect setting. Stretch out on sun loungers and tuck into an alfresco dinner, all while admiring the glistening lake. Indoors, you'll find a well-appointed kitchen and a comfortable living. We think it works well as a family base, as the third bedroom has bunk beds that are ideal for little ones. When you're ready for adventure, hop in the car and drive to Como, Cernobbio, and Argegno – all less than twenty minutes away.

Tucked away in the centre of Como's charming old town, this superb apartment surprises and delights with an extraordinary blend of ornate original features and cutting-edge design to create a unique and luxurious offering on the edge of northern Italy's most prestigious lake.

The owners have poured their heart and soul into a sympathetic restoration that makes a deliberate feature of some of the more patinated interior elements. In particular, double-height, frescoed ceilings draw the eye upward in the spacious and comfortable living room with beautiful mouldings on the walls and its two gorgeous bedrooms – undoubtedly the home's standout rooms.

The city of Como is a fantastic place to base yourself to explore some of the small lakeside settlements. It boasts a vibrant atmosphere, outstanding eateries and bougie boutiques, all within a stone's throw of your front door. Stroll a short distance to the harbour, where local ferries depart for the likes of Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio. In addition, active types might want to head into the mountains for scenic hikes, where each turn reveals ever more spectacular views.

Como Crystal

Nestled on the hillside in Como, this villa serves up panoramic lake and mountain views that you’ll never tire of. Set across four floors, there’s plenty of space for an extended family or group of friends to spread out here, or come together to socialise. With a private gym, hot tub, and games area, you’ll find plenty to occupy your time, too. Keen to explore further? Hop in the car – it’s a short drive to Como and Cernobbio, where fine Italian eateries and adventures on the lake await. 

The Lake of Love

Situated in Carate Urio, this gorgeous house offers unforgettable views from the western shoreline of Lake Como. If you're able to pull yourself away from its many windows and French doors, you'll find this home is equipped with all the desired amenities, as well as one exceptional extra – a private lakeview jacuzzi hidden under a beautiful canopy of jasmine. While there's space for up to eight guests, it's perhaps best suited to groups of four, with three comfy beds spread across its two bedrooms. However many of you come to visit, you'll be able to access the lake directly from the home, or head to the ferry terminals at Urio or Moltrasio to venture out on the shimmering water.


Lake Manor

We love the vistas over Lake Como from this apartment’s Juliet balconies in the living room and bedroom. On a practical note, the living area can get a bit cramped if four guests stay, as two will be sleeping on a sofa bed here. Also, the kitchenette doesn’t have an oven or much food preparation space, so it’s best suited to making snacks and light meals. Luckily, there are a couple of eateries nearby. This home is situated in Carate Urio on the western shore of Lake Como, with lots of residential villas. If you fancy going on a boat trip to explore Lake Como’s other towns, take a ten-minute walk to Urio’s dock.

The Cosy Lakeview Hideaway

If you’re seeking the kind of serenity that comes from enjoying far-reaching views across a glassy lake, this could be the home for you. As you’d expect with a studio, space is limited here, but it’s a cosy place for two. And, step out into the garden, and you can while away the hours drinking in the vistas over a bottle of wine. The kitchenette is ideal for basic food, but for a substantial meal full of authentic Italian flavours, head to one of the many local restaurants in Laglio for a dinner to remember.

Stairs here lead down to the water should you want to take a dip in the lake, while the villa’s magnificent gardens boast a secret pathway that takes you to medieval Torno’s centre in fifteen minutes. Your host can also organise boat trips for you. With Como also just a fifteen-minute drive from your, there’s no end to the magical memories in store. 


Terrazza Torno

Situated just a stone's throw away from beautiful Lake Como, this apartment is ideal for a relaxing break. We love the barrel-vaulted ceilings here and there’s a side view of the lake and a bright living room which sleeps guests three and four on a sofa bed. The location is great for strolls along the shore and the funicular to the village of Brunate is nearby, making exploring easy. This home is also very close to the centre of Como with its shops, restaurants, and landmarks.

Lake Como Elegance

This perfectly located home is an excellent base in Como. Comprising two apartments, on the second and third floors of the building, this home is ideal for two families looking to travel together comfortably. Each apartment has a kitchen and living space, so you’ll have plenty of room for downtime. Depart on boat tours of Lake Como from just 350 metres away, and explore nearby towns and cities – San Giovanni train station is just 600 metres away. There are restaurants and bars close by, making this a practical choice.
