Sample a more authentic side of Milan at this apartment set in Navigli. Loved by locals for its buzzy canal-side bar and restaurant scene, there’s plenty of action close by. And when it’s time to head into the centre, the nearest Metro station is just a ten-minute walk away. Offering heaps of living space and a roomy dining kitchen, this home is a great option for longer stays or working trips. The second bedroom with a desk space doubles up great as a study. Although, do note it also features a pull-out double bed – a cosy setup if two are sharing. A small balcony for morning coffee or evening aperitivos is the cherry on top.

By the Navigli

Perched along the Naviglio Grande, this apartment offers a comfortable base for those who want to drop their bags and get out exploring. Location-wise, you're a five-minute walk from the Tortona district area – home of the Milan Fashion Week, while the Duomo and the city centre are just a short tram ride away. The apartment itself is housed in a typical Milan-style building, and although the interiors aren't the most inspiring, you'll soon feel right at home here – plus both bedrooms offer canal views for a spring in your step, come morning. 

Always in Fashion

Between the canals of Navigli and Bocconi University, this apartment is in a privileged position. It's pretty spacious, with much of the floors covered in a beautiful herringbone parquet and a couple of nods to Milan's status as a fashion capital in the form of couture-themed artworks on the living room wall. The dining area is especially chic, thanks to the tall windows, and would make the ideal place to serve up a fresh Italian feast. It's wonderfully quiet here, but the sights and sounds of Milan are not far away – a twenty-minute walk will bring you to the famous Duomo and Zona Tortona Design District. 


Ursa Major

This loft apartment, at the heart of vibrant Navigli, is perfect for a family of four. With books and toys included, the single bedrooms here are ideal for kids – although the raised beds won’t suit really young guests. You’ve also got a sociable, open-plan living area, and a dedicated desk for anyone who needs to check in with the office while they’re away. Location-wise, you’ll find the canal, shops, and restaurants on the doorstep. And when you want to explore further afield, your host can provide bikes, or there are tram and bus stops nearby for easy access to the city centre.

Navigli Loft

Set amid the historical attractions of Milan's San Vittore district, this sleek apartment is a great choice for families and groups of friends ticking off the major sights. The stylish living and dining area caught our eye, as well as the sociable kitchen island which is ideal for group breakfasts before setting off for a busy day in the city. When you're ready to explore, landmarks such as the Sforzesco Castle and Santa Maria delle Grazie Church (home of The Last Supper) are within easy walking distance. 

Fashion Flagstaff

If you’re in search of a well-connected city stay, this apartment delivers a great solution. Located on Corso Garibaldi, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to cute Italian cafes, shops and restaurants. It’s also within easy reach of Parco Sempione and you’ll find the public transport ensures quick links with the rest of Milan. It’s worth noting the apartment is basic, but it’s ideal for couples or solo travellers with the handy addition of a sofa bed for one guest in the living room. 


Italian Heart

This rustic yet refined home offers a warm and characterful retreat in the heart of Milan’s lively Navigli district. Marrying timeless Italian charm with everyday comfort, the interiors have been thoughtfully curated to feel homely and inviting. Sleeping up to eight guests, it’s well-suited to families or groups – though it’s worth noting that two of the beds are sofa beds. Our favourite feature? It has to be the breezy outdoor terrace that sets the scene for slow mornings with coffee and relaxed aperitivi as the sun sets over the city.

Quiet Marvel

Sitting in the Tortona district — a magnet for Milan's creative set, especially during Fashion Week or Design Week — this home fully reflects its surroundings. The Lago Design pieces give it a unique touch, as well as a cosy and homely feel, especially the suspended round-shaped bed in the master bedroom. The bold coloured walls and mix of modern style with antique elements make for a characterful interior, while the sunken bathtub adds that extra level of comfort. Whether you're relaxing in the living room with a good book or powering through work in the dedicated office space, expect to find a bright and uplifting spot, benefitting from curated plants and thoughtful furnishings. Bookmark any day by sipping sundown drinks on your private balcony, offering skyline views over the city. Outside, shop-till-you-drop in Zona Tortona (five-minute walk) or take a thirty minutes stroll to the iconic Duomo di Milano for a taste of culture. 

Lago di Tortona

This is a delightful little apartment in the shadow of the Sforzesco Castle. The sprawling greenery of Sempione Park is right on your doorstep and the Duomo, Royal Palace and Teatro alla Scala are all within a fifteen-minute walk. We love the apartment’s terrace, which is home to all sorts of pot plants and cacti, and a table and chairs for a cold glass of something (there's a dedicated wine fridge inside). The designer sofas and curated collection of coffee table books in the living room are everything you’d expect in Italy’s capital of style. But it’s the ceiling that draws the eye – a slant of white-washed wood beams adding a delightfully rustic touch, and lending itself to make-shift books shelves in every available nook and cranny. Despite the proximity to both the castle and the Brera district (home to cafés, restaurants and luxury fashion boutiques), this place is in a residential block, so you’re guaranteed a little peace and quiet. 

Chalet Milano

Simple but central, this Milan apartment sits just steps away from the city’s iconic cathedral in the heart of Zone 1. The Fashion Capital’s high-end shops are within easy reach, as are a smattering of bars and restaurants – ideal given the kitchen here is rather basic. Those wanting a lived-in home will be better off elsewhere, but if you can look past the generic decor, you’ll find this place has plenty to offer, not least a private terrace with a hot tub for unwinding after a busy day of sightseeing.

Duomo Daydream

After the hustle and bustle of Milan's city centre, returning to this light-filled penthouse in the peaceful Jewish quarter feels like a breath of fresh air. All that said, this apartment does come with its compromises. Though you've got two good-sized bedrooms with desk spaces for remote working, you won't find a living area 'per se' here. However, the kitchen has a dining table for socialising, and the small balcony is a bonus. Location-wise, you're just a fifteen-minute journey to the centre from the nearby Piazza Frattini Metro Station (300 metres on foot). Or stroll over to the neighbouring district of Tortona with its trendy cafes, art galleries, and boutiques.

Jewish Quarter Chic

There’s no need to hire a car for a stay in this apartment in Milan’s old town – most of the must-see sights can be reached on foot and there’s a Metro station a minute’s walk away. Located on the top floor of a historical building, you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below so it’s surprisingly quiet for a city centre pad. The minimalist decor here won’t be to everyone’s taste, but we love the mix of white walls and bold window frames. And the large roof terrace is the perfect place to enjoy an aperitivo before heading out for dinner at one of the many local restaurants.
