With unparalleled views of Piazza Venezia and Capitoline Hill, this penthouse has four terraces and decadent decor. We think it's great for romantic getaways, and if you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a free cot. At full capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the studio – this has its own en-suite like the other bedrooms, giving everyone the same level of privacy. The large terrace has plenty of space to enjoy the surrounding views and dine alfresco. You might hear some outside noise due to the central location, but this home makes exploring a breeze. You'll find several of Rome's famous landmarks easily reachable on foot, including the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain.

Keeping Time

Just a few blocks from Roma Termini station, it's fair to say this home places you right in the heart of Rome. With the open-plan living space perfect for spending time together, we think the home is great for both families or a group of friends. Having two bathrooms is always a bonus, and the hot tub bath is sure to go down well with your guests. Be sure to pick the brains of your knowledgeable host, who is more than happy to share tips on where to check out as you explore. 

The Marcellus

Stretching across three levels with multiple terraces, this penthouse apartment sets the tone for an unforgettable stay in the Eternal City. You can admire the views from the rooftop and there are two Jacuzzis as well as exercise equipment. At full occupancy four guests will be sleeping on sofa beds, but this is a great option for groups and families in search of ease, comfort and a great location. From here, you can stroll to restaurants, bars and shops. Plus, you’ll find it’s just a short walk to major sights like Piazza Venezia, the Vittoriano and the Trevi Fountain. 

Fountain of Grace

Your fairytale stay begins at Trastevere. Quaint, rustic, and steps away from the River Tiber, you’re enchanted by bright rooms, slanted ceilings, and refreshing design. As you settle in, listen closely for music and laughter from the city that surrounds you. Nearby Parco del Gianicolo impresses with beautiful lush gardens, walking trails, and the historic Janiculum Terrace. Carry on to Ponte Sisto bridge, then to Spada Gallery, where 16th century pieces enthral you for hours. In need of refreshments? Countless Italian eateries and cocktail bars dance around you — stop by Cybo for Roman classics, or Osteria da Fortunata for fresh hand-made pasta. Return to your space to whip up a Negroni and kick back with your favourite flick.

This cosy home is based in Rome, close to the famous Trevi fountain. Whether you're travelling for business or pleasure, this apartment makes the perfect home base for coming back to at the end of a busy day. Set yourself up at the dining table for some remote work, or cook up some tasty pasta dishes in the well-equipped kitchen.

Thanks to the central location of this home, you'll be close to plenty of cosy sidewalk cafes and stunning local restaurants for all your needs – if you're someone who likes to eat out, you've come to the right place. Or you can immerse yourself in local culture at the National Gallery of Ancient Art close by. In the evening, the sofa pulls out to make a comfy double bed, where you can enjoy a movie before sleeping or get a restful night before another busy day of exploring.

Ideal for a romantic getaway or solo trip, this home in the heart of Rome has the advantage of being in one of the most desirable locations. Set in the Pantheon district, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the sights – with only a three-minute walk to the Pantheon itself – as well as cafes and restaurants. 

Stroll around the Eternal City, admiring the architecture and finding a new appreciation for the rich history of the buildings and bones of this vibrant city. When you’re not out taking pictures – and believe us when we say almost every street will present you with another opportunity – or ticking off all your holiday bucket list items, you can rejuvenate back at this cosy home. 

We think the mix of minimalist and rustic elements creates a space that feels homely whilst still making a statement. Take advantage of the ample light by reading on the red, velvet sofa or working on a crossword puzzle together as you sit down at the table with a cup of freshly-brewed coffee.

If you're anything like us, you'll make a beeline for the outdoor space – it's the perfect spot to enjoy an Aperol Spritz while gazing at the neighbourhood's rooftops. Inside, the antique furniture and character features give the whole pad a traditional feel – but that's all part of the charm. With two lounges, a dining room, and a collection of cosy bedrooms, you'll also have plenty of space. We love the location, too. This is one of Rome's prettiest (and oldest) districts, home to artisan shops, local trattorias, and a bohemian atmosphere that's hard to resist.

Renaissance Romance

From the towering ceiling, glass wall, exposed brick, and spiral staircase, we can’t get enough of this home’s industrial architecture. The furniture is designed by Angelo, the incredibly talented owner, and made on custom by local craftsmen. It's a modern and breathable space to unwind after an afternoon exploring the world's most ancient city. Whether you're reading a good book in the luscious garden out front or enjoying a little snooze in the mezzanine bedroom, you'll find a relaxing ambience that will soon have you feeling well-rested. Beyond this sanctuary of calm, you're sat on the quiet street of Borgo Pio, halfway between Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica – an ideal starting point for those looking to explore the city on foot. Walk to the Vatican City in just sixteen minutes or in the other direction to the Trevi Fountain, a couple of kilometres from your door. 

Sistina Charm

Smack bang in the heart of Rome, within walking distance of the Spanish Steps and the iconic Trevi Fountain, this apartment boasts an enviable postcode. And if you fancy venturing to the other side of town, there are plenty of bus stops close by. The living area is compact, and when the sofa bed is in use, it compromises any social communal space, so we think this home is best suited to a couple or solo traveller. The kitchenette makes self-catering easy, and the shared roof terrace is a nice spot to enjoy the sunshine.

The Roman Rose

You’ll have trattorias, craft beer pubs, and independent shops on your doorstep at this apartment in the bohemian neighbourhood of Trastervere. And discovering the rest of the city will be a breeze, with many of Rome’s must-sees within walking distance. The layout of this home won’t suit everyone – the bed is on a mezzanine level, accessed via a ladder, and there’s not much space for preparing meals in the narrow kitchen. We think it’s best for a couple or solo traveller wanting to drop their bags and head out to explore.

The Roman Cardinal

If location is at the top of your list when looking for a place to stay in Rome, then look no further than this apartment in the centre of the city. The famous Spanish Steps are a short walk from your doorstep, and the bustling Via del Corso is just around the corner. You'll notice there’s no comfortable seating area here, so we think this place is better suited to those who are always on the go. However, there is a furnished communal roof terrace, which is a lovely place to enjoy a tipple in the evenings. 

Roman Art

Ideal for couples, this cosy apartment is a comfortable base in the heart of Rome. Its central location affords views of historic landmarks including the Piazza del Teatro di Pompeo and Palazzo Farnese. You’ll be just a short stroll from iconic sights including the Pantheon, and will have plenty of restaurants, boutiques, and museums on your doorstep. This apartment can accommodate three guests, with one sleeping on a Murphy bed in the living space – if you’re hoping for more space and privacy, we’d stick to a guest count of two.
