Just a five-minute stroll from St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, while being ten minutes on foot from the Ottaviano Metro stop, you'll be all set up for a fuss-free sightseeing trip. Inside, both bedrooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms which will help to speed mornings along. Just keep in mind that the kitchen lacks an oven or a hob, so it's only suitable for preparing light bites. That said you're in the heart of Italy, so eating out will definitely be on the cards here. It's also worth noting that you'll need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the apartment.

This beautiful home is the epitome of everything Roman. Stylish and sophisticated, it's been designed to represent what this city is all about. A mix of period features and a sleek, modern finish (particularly in the kitchen and bathrooms) have made for an upscale stay that’s brought to life with personal touches. The living space is comfortable and inviting, with an artificial fireplace that illuminates the space and a huge TV inset into the wall, a tall window and a wall painting at the dining end – making for the perfect spot to enjoy a few glasses of red together. Bedrooms are smart and bright, and the murals add character and recall the city’s many frescoes. Vatican City, Castel Sant’Angelo and Piazza del Popolo are all just a fifteen-minute walk away, while the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Campo di Fiori are just twenty-five minutes on foot. Plus, the immediate neighbourhood is known for its great shopping and its numerous cafes and bars.

Cascades is an interesting place - functional and modern, with a few features that really set it apart, like the sleek fireplace in the bedroom. There’s also a stunning bathroom with a three-metre-high, chromotherapy-enabled shower. The design might come across as a bit cold, given the expanses of white and the lack of artwork, but the bed is really comfy, and there’s always the home cinema system to keep you entertained..

You'll find this charming apartment in Prati, one of Rome's most upscale neighbourhoods. Here, wine bars, boutique shops, and gourmet eateries line the streets, while must-visits like St. Peter's Basilica are within walking distance. The design inside is full of character, with a few contemporary twists like bold wallpaper and sleek bathrooms. It doesn't have the largest living space – most socialising will happen around the dining table –  and the kitchen is compact but well-equipped. That said, we reckon you'll spend most of your time here out and about – especially since your host can arrange guided tours, cooking classes, and other fun-filled extras.

It's situated in the upmarket district of Prati, which serves as something of a corporate hub during the week. Its grand sweeping boulevards and beautiful art nouveau buildings mean that it shouldn't be ignored. However, it seems to fly under the radar of most visitors, so you can browse the exclusive boutiques that line Cola di Rienzo (300m away) unbothered by gaggles of tourists. Step off the main thoroughfare and you'll discover low-key neighbourhood haunts and cool kerbside cafes where you can while away an afternoon over a long lunch.

It's the same walking distance to the boutiques in Via Cola di Rienzo, as well as the Trionfale Market with its food and flower stalls. If you want to explore some more of Rome's well-known attractions, take a twenty-minute stroll to Castel Sant'Angelo, with its rooftop views over the city. Back at this home – it's comfortable and well-designed, with a calming colour scheme that is just what you need after a hectic day exploring the city. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony or catch up on some work if need be (it's fully equipped for remote working). Set in the heart of Rome's lively Prati district, this stylish apartment is a real crowd-pleaser. For those larger groups of friends or extended families looking to explore the Eternal City, you'll have four bright and colourful bedrooms to relax in, knowing the cultural attractions and iconic sights are right outside. Despite the lack of seating in the living-come-dining room, each bedroom offers a unique space to unwind. Styled in a chic 50s theme with vibrant colours, bold wallpaper prints and mid-century furnishings, the rooms also come with plenty of space. Each one has its own look, filled with vintage paraphernalia, from records to typewriters (they also each have a TV – the flat isn’t entirely faithful to the 50s). The bathrooms are well-designed and metro tiled, while the kitchen’s equipped for home meals – but you’re in one of the restaurant hotspots (as if anywhere in Rome isn’t a restaurant hotspot), and there are some great places to eat very nearby. Visit the Castel Sant'Angelo for a cultural day trip, just ten minutes (on foot) from your front door or head to the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, less than a twenty-minute walk away.
