The unique piece in Mirror Peach is the family tree, sketched on the wall, tracing the inhabitants of the palazzo for over one hundred years. It’s a beautiful way of tying the modern redesign (spearheaded by Alda Fendi and French architect Jean Nouvel) to the rich past that the building already has. The present, though, feels robust enough to stand up to that history. Staying here is an exercise in luxury – there’s even a menu from which you can choose your ideal pillow.


Mirror Peach

The contrast between the old structure, with its plaster and ceiling beams, and the Koons-esque furniture in Mirror Sky is striking, even more so in the flesh than on a screen. It’s a bold move, but no less than you’d expect from a flat in the Alda Fendi Foundation. Rather than a traditionally autonomous apartment, here you get the benefits you’d normally associate with a five-star hotel, without losing any independence. There’s a 24/7 reception, a roof terrace, daily cleaning, even the option to choose the pillow best suited to you from a ‘menu’.


Mirror Sky

When in Rome, you’ll want a magnifico base for your adventure, and this apartment provides just that. Located in an elegant area of the Eternal City, it offers a bellissimo blend of convenience and comfort. You’ll be just minutes from the Spanish Steps, famous shopping streets, and the metro, making it easy to explore Rome’s iconic landmarks. The apartment blends antique charm with modern design, creating a homely feel with an Italian flair. Plus, the stunning views over the city will make your stay even more magical.

Magnificent Place

With the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and even the Roman Forum all within walking distance, this four-bedroom apartment couldn’t be in a better spot for sightseeing. You’ll be right in the heart of historic Rome, but it’s not just the location we love about this home. The apartment is bright and spacious, spread over two floors at the top of a charming old building. There’s plenty of space to spread out, including a well-appointed kitchen and separate dining room, plus a living area that opens onto a sunny terrace (a real treat in the centre of the city). The only downside is there’s no lift, however being up high means you’re rewarded with glorious views of the Roman rooftops.

Eternal City Sky

An ode to 1960s Italian cool, this studio apartment blends elegant vintage decor with modern stylings to create a space that feels like you’ve stepped straight into a Fellini film. 

We love the old-school design elements here, from the beamed ceilings in the dining area to the vintage sound system and retro colour palette. The feature wall in the bedroom adds warmth and character to the bright and comfortable space, combining groovy 60s patterns in a bold 21st-century way. After waking up to views of the neighbourhood’s rooftops, hop under the bathroom’s rainfall shower for a luxurious soak before catching up on any work you may have at the chic dedicated desk space. Then, slip on your walking shoes for an exciting day of sightseeing. 

Within your bohemian Trastevere neighbourhood, you’ll find plenty of traditional trattorias, craft beer pubs and artisan shops, while the city’s most iconic sights – including the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Campo de Fiori, Circus Maximus, the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums – are all easily reachable on foot.

Trastevere Twist

Situated in Rome’s Campo de' Fiori, this apartment is ideal for those who want a base with all the necessary comforts but aren't too concerned about frills. That said, the private terrace is pretty wow, with a lounge area, dining area and sweeping city views. We like the traditional features, but you might find the kitchen and bathrooms a little dated. What sold us on this pad was the terrace, the enclosed patio, and the central location – from here, you’re a short walk from the Pantheon and the Roman Forum, while you’ll find plenty of trattorias, neighbourhood bars and little cafes just off your doorstep.

A Touch of Rome

There are 'holiday homes' and holiday 'homes' – while the first functions as little more than a bed for the night, the second offers you a chance to experience a more authentic, everyday experience in your destination of choice. This cosy, city-centre apartment definitely falls into the latter category, and it's all the better for it. Of course, there are places you could stay closer to the most famous tourist sights, but here you have the chance to get stuck into real Roman life. Testaccio is the historic home of Rome's slaughterhouses. Once upon a time, its distinctive offal-based cuisine was served out of necessity. Nowadays, it has been elevated to a gourmet delicacy. For lunch, walk ten minutes to Trentatre, a chic cafeteria-style restaurant that serves up wholesome, seasonal dishes at incredibly competitive prices. For food on the go, pick up a trapizzino – a pizza pocket stuffed with sweetmeats. Alternatively, grab a seat at Checchino Dal 1887. Nowhere better represents the area than this six-generation family-owned and operated eatery. If the local cuisine inspires you, it’s easy to imagine yourself swanning through the local food markets and chatting to the vendors before whipping up dinner in the flat. With its innovative trattorias and cool craft breweries, a short five-minute walk to trendy Trastevere offers an entirely different atmosphere. And if you do need to get to the centre, it’s just a few stops on the metro.


Take Flight

If we're to be completely honest, not everybody will be smitten by this apartment in the centre of Rome, especially when the small size is taken into consideration. However, those with a passion for stylish design are sure to fall for its unique charm.

The home sits within a 20th-century building that has been renovated by the French architect Jean Nouvel. The end result is a multifunctional space that includes this apartment, which blends industrial and minimalist trends to striking effect. You only have to look at the stainless steel kitchen and bathroom, as well as the monochrome sleeping quarters, to see what we mean.

Elsewhere in the building, there's an art gallery, restaurant and outdoor spaces that overlook the city skyline on the upper floors. Another big perk comes with the excellent location. In the space of ten minutes, you can wander over to the Colosseum and Imperial Forums, while Circus Maximus takes half that time to reach.



Mirror Wall

For a centrally located apartment in Rome, look no further. This elegant apartment is on the fourth floor of a historic building right in the heart of the city, a two-minute walk from Piazza Navona. The Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, and Vatican are all within ten minutes of this delightful home. Look forward to 1800s parquet flooring and high, beamed ceilings, along with a cosy living space with views of Rome. Bright and comfortable, this apartment is suitable for long stays. 

Eternal Navona

Beautiful Rome – a city of romance, history, and style. It makes sense, then, to stay in an apartment brimming with elegant style and historic touches. 

This apartment can be found in the Jewish Quarter, a beautiful neighbourhood with a rich history. Walking just a few steps from the front door, you’ll find yourself exploring 2000-year-old ruins. Amid the fascinating historical sights, you’ll also have your pick of excellent eateries here – you’re never far from your next great meal in Rome. This lovely home also makes for a great base for exploring the rest of the city – you’re right in the thick of things, so you can easily visit all of Rome’s hotspots on foot. Trastevere and its fabulous nightlife are just a few minutes' walk, as are Piazza Venezia and Piazza Navona.

The apartment itself is a stunningly good find. It’s spacious and bright, decorated in classic Italian style using only the finest furniture. There’s something to admire in every corner, whether it’s the pull-down cocktail bar in the living room, or the antique wooden beams. When you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a haven. Relax with a good book and a glass of wine before dinner – but will you dine in or head out?  


Buona Serata

Just a stone’s throw from the Tiber River in Rome’s Trastevere neighbourhood, this bright apartment was made for socialising and relaxing. While the interior is full of quirky ornaments, comfortable furnishings and textured throws, it’s the home’s outside that really sets it apart. With three different rooftop terrace areas, you can chill out in the hanging chairs while taking in views across the city, catch some rays on the loungers and gather together for sunset alfresco meals while the Eternal City stretches out behind you. When you’re not soaking up the serenity of your rooftop pad, go out and explore your historic neighbourhood. Trastevere is known for its innovative trattorias, craft beer bars and artisan shops, while the river is a three-minute walk away, inviting you to walk along its banks. Elsewhere, the Pantheon is a fifteen-minute walk away and the Vatican is walkable in just under forty. After a day of sightseeing, retreat to your rooftop hangout as the city glitters in all directions, or treat yourself to a soak in the tub before enjoying a comfortable night’s sleep. 


The Rooster and the Dog

Sitting on the banks of the Tiber River in the authentic Rione XX Testaccio neighbourhood, this apartment puts you in an ideal position to experience the best of the city's history and culture. You're a short walk from the start of the Roman Forum which leads to the beloved Colosseum in just a matter of minutes. Along with the top sights, renowned pastry shops, cosy eateries, and alfresco bars will please traditionalists and creatives alike. 

Inside, kick back with a good glass of Rioja on the plush sofa, stick on a movie from the home's impressive collection and recover from a busy day of sightseeing. Whether you're waking up in the comfortable bedroom or preparing breakfast in the open kitchen and dining area, you'll feel perfectly at home in this elegant yet cosy space. 

But the real standout here is the desirable postcode. Beat the crowds with an early morning visit to the Trevi Fountain or explore the Pantheon and the surrounding piazzas, teeming with family-run restaurants – pizza, pasta, and limoncello awaits.
