It's all about location and traditional charm with this Rome apartment, as it's set next to Piazza Navona – famous for its Baroque buildings and fountains. The Campo de' Fiori market and the ancient Pantheon temple are also both within a five-minute walk. As for the charm, you'll find it in everything from the wooden beams of the ceilings to the original 16th-century spiral staircase that takes you up to the apartment. Granted, there's no lift, but if you're happy to climb up to the second floor, then the central location is more than worth it.

Sweet Piazza

What an amazing address this apartment has in Rome. You’ll be just a short stroll from the Ponte Sisto and Campo de' Fiori. Iconic landmarks such as the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain are also within walking distance. You’ll also have shops, cafes, and restaurants on your doorstep. With the latter, that’s literal – there’s a restaurant right below this home, so you may hear some street noise here. Inside this apartment, you’ll find a good-sized living room, with a sofa bed for guests five and six. Two of the bedrooms have desks, too, in case you need to work while away in the Eternal City. 

 The Culture of Rome

This home opens its doors to stunning views across the historic centre. You can soak it all in while reclining on a lounger with drinks in hand. There’s a cosy living room with a sofa bed and a dedicated office with a desk for remote workers. And when it comes to location, you couldn’t be in a better spot for explorations across the city. From here, it’s just a short stroll to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. You’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to local restaurants and bars. Plus, there are great public transport links – making it easy to get across the city. 


Ancient Light

Uniting Rome past and present, this bright apartment offers modern comfort and style in the heart of the old-world Trastevere neighbourhood. Inside, it’s all high ceilings, parquet floors, big windows and vibrant feature walls. A cosy balcony sits among the treetops – it’s the perfect spot for a cappuccino after breakfast. Cook up Roman classics in the kitchen and dine together in the light-filled living space. Or, leave it to the professionals and hole up in a traditional trattoria. Explore the labyrinthine cobbled lanes, where spirited bars are cloaked by tumbling ivy and laidback cafes draw a bohemian crowd. Piazza di Santa Maria, a five-minute walk from your place, buzzes well into the evening. People-watch with an aperitivo or grab a gelato to go and stroll along the River Tiber. With three beautifully decorated bedrooms – one of which boasts a desk – as well as a pair of luxurious bathrooms (we’re particularly fond of the freestanding tub) – you’ve got everything you need for a memorable, magical time. 

When it comes to sightseeing, you couldn’t be better placed with the Spanish Steps a three-minute walk, the Trevi Fountain a ten-minute stroll and Piazza Navona just under fifteen minutes away on foot. You’re also a ten-minute walk from Villa Borghese and its manicured gardens, while the Mausoleum of Augustus is six minutes on foot from your door. 


Sublime Scalinata

For a centrally located apartment in Rome, look no further. This elegant apartment is on the fourth floor of a historic building right in the heart of the city, a two-minute walk from Piazza Navona. The Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, and Vatican are all within ten minutes of this delightful home. Look forward to 1800s parquet flooring and high, beamed ceilings, along with a cosy living space with views of Rome. Bright and comfortable, this apartment is suitable for long stays.

And if the location doesn't win you over, the outside space surely will. You'll find not one but two sun-kissed terraces here – both ideal spots for evening aperitifs and alfresco meals. Inside Italian charm abounds, from original terracotta floors to low beamed ceilings. Two guests will sleep on a sofa bed, while the smaller bedroom is best for little ones. Your host can also arrange tours, cooking classes, and other special extras for a fee.

The location of this apartment is great. It’s just a short walk from the Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza Cavour, home to Italy’s Supreme Court. You can also visit the Vatican, including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, which are also within walking distance. There’s a range of eateries in the locale, too, for when you want a rest from sightseeing. The bright open-plan living space back at this apartment also sleeps guests five and six on a comfy sofa bed. The main bedroom has an en-suite, while bedroom two has a small double bed. Your hosts are really helpful here as well – they can arrange a variety of services for you to make your stay in Rome super special.

The Spanish Steps are only three minutes away on foot, and you need only walk seven minutes to toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain. The apartment is on the fourth floor of the building, so you’ll be able to admire a view of the city’s rooftops from the terrace. This loft apartment is warm and welcoming, with a chic, open layout. The bedroom is at mezzanine level above the living and dining space, so you’ll need to be able to manage the stairs to stay here. 

The Ancient Palazzo

Escape to your own Roman rooftop haven in Prati – just minutes from the bustling city, yet blissfully away from the crowds. Any discussion of Savannah has to start with the roof terrace, a little rectangle of serenity nestled in the rooftops of Trastevere. There is furniture up there and even a canopy, so you can relax while hiding from the midday sun. The interior is simple but charming, with a working fireplace in the living room - perfect for those cosy winter nights. The bathroom is a little basic - especially if it’s being shared by four - and it’s worth noting that there is no lift in the building, but otherwise Savannah is a lovely base in Rome's most bohemian neighbourhood.
