This home boasts an envy-inducing setting in Capo Ferro, one of Porto Cervo’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. From its hilltop position, it boasts remarkable views of the Mediterranean Sea, tempting guests to travel the 1.5 miles to the marina for boat trips along the coast. Inside, the villa is elegant and comfortable. We love the outdoor kitchen, and the porch for drinking in the views after a dip in the private pool. 

Stroll on the Beach

Sea views, a flower-filled private garden, and plenty of spots to unwind or dine alfresco – this villa serves up a true slice of la dolce vita. There’s an open-air kitchen plus two more inside, should you fancy rustling up a feast. The bright, breezy bedrooms each have their own rustic charm; two open onto terraces, while the third is a private annex with its own kitchen and bathroom – ideal for families. You’re close to Cannigione’s shops and restaurants, but a car’s a must to explore the island fully. No pool? No problem. Who needs one when you’re just steps from the sea?


Sardinia Sanctuary

If you want to feel like you’ve stepped into the Garden of Eden, this villa’s for you. This dreamy home has three terraces with alfresco dining tables and stunning views – not to mention the private pool. The lush gardens are full of olive trees, myrtle bushes and prickly pears, with plenty of cosy corners for romantic moments away from the group. The interiors are a little rustic, but let's face it, you're not travelling to Sardinia to sit inside. The best part is the remarkable location on an exclusive peninsula that looks out over the Maddalena archipelago. Stroll to the beach in minutes, or better yet, head out by boat. 

Feels Like Paradise

This is a cosy home with a sofa bed for two of the guests, but the location more than makes up for the size. It's right in the heart of Costa Rossa, a short walk from the beach, harbour and town centre. Northern Sardinia's hot spots are easily accessible by car, like Costa Paradiso and Castelsardo. But if you don't feel like venturing out, you'll find everything you need in this seaside town. Start your day with an espresso on the private terrace, spend the afternoon sunning on the sandy beach, and watch the sun go down from one of buzzing local restaurants. Sounds good, right? Just don't forget money to pay for towels and linens. 

 On The Waves

Now that's what we call a view. Whether you're relaxing on the balcony, swimming in the pool or whipping up a feast in the kitchen, you'll be able to watch the waves rolling in the sea. Although bed linen and towels are an additional cost, each bedroom is comfortable and cosy – but, as there's only space for eight around the table, we think ten guests will be a squeeze. Location-wise, Costa Paradiso is yours to discover. Li Cossi beach is less than a five-minute drive, with restaurants, bars and seasonal shops also within striking distance.

Serene Seas

If you're staying in a home situated on the Sardinian coastline, it would be a crying shame if the address didn't have an outdoor spot from which to admire the majesty of the local landscape. Thankfully, this apartment in the north of the island really delivers on the front.

Not only is there a large sun terrace with 180-degree views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and Tavolara island, but there are two further verandahs with alfresco tables and a well-kept garden. There are pleasant views out through the home's windows too, which, thanks to the elevated position, also bring in lots of natural light. This asset works particularly well with the bright and contemporary design throughout, from the white walls and glossy kitchen surfaces to the rather striking head sculpture in the living space.

When it comes to seeing a little more of the local area, there's a rock beach only eighty metres from the home and the sandy Spiaggia Mare Rocce is two hundred metres' walk. There's a decent choice of restaurants in the surrounding town of Pittulongu, while you can find a wider choice, plus some archaeological ruins, in the city of Olbia, just over fifteen minutes' drive away.


Tyrrhenian Delight

Switch off and experience the beauty of Sardinia at this home in Punta Molara. Despite lacking wi-fi, the dappled veranda and private swimming pool will be a welcome distraction. The views are pretty great, too – and the alfresco dining table and outdoor sofa are perfect places to enjoy them. All the bedrooms are a good size – one is even located on the lower level with its own entrance – but you'll need to pay for bed linen and towels or bring your own. As for location, Cala Ginepro's crystal-clear waters and pebbled beach are 800 metres away, while the city of Olbia and its many cafe-flanked piazzas is a 12-kilometre drive. 

Vervain In Bloom

This villa stands in the village of Budoni, within easy reach of the beautiful Cala Brandinchi beach and Lu Impostu. The decor is simple, and there isn’t much space for everyone inside – but with views like this, you won’t be spending much time indoors. The terrace is a great spot for alfresco meals, and kids will love the private swimming pool. We recommend hiring a car so you can get out and explore more of Sardinia. 

Sea Breeze Reverie

Set in the hillside overlooking the glittering Mediterranean, this bright and breezy villa has front row seats to the island’s best sunsets. The interiors are all white and bright blue, mirroring the azure water and bleached Sardinian sands of Porto Ottiolu Beach, situated a mere ten-minute walk from your doorstep. Begin your mornings with an espresso on the velvet couch before lapping up the sunshine on the terrace. 

When it’s time for lunch, whip up side dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen and grill fresh, local produce on the sizzling barbecue. In the late afternoon, stretch your legs with a ten-minute stroll to the marina and watch the boats bob on the gentle waves. Pick up a bottle of Limoncello on your way home and settle into the comfy rattan chairs on your patio, ready to watch the skies swirl in pinks and purples. Finish the evening with a dip in the private pool as the stars come out.

Sardinian Sunshine

Located in the heart of Cala Rossa on Sardinia’s northern coast, this cosy beachfront apartment will charm you as soon as you walk in the door. The undisputed highlight is immediately evident when you cross the threshold – that view of the sea complemented by the pink-hued terrace, a perfect place to chat over a glass of wine. Though the kitchen is lacking some amenities, the easy access to the beach more than makes up for it – it’s just a 300 metre walk away.

Beachfront Vista

The view is everything here. This modern villa stands in Portobello di Gallura, just 800 metres from Baia dell’Amore beach, and boasts glorious views of the coast. From here you can explore the area's hidden coves and peaceful beaches on foot, and spend your evenings drinking in the spectacular sea sunsets. You’ll have a Jacuzzi to unwind in but no pool, so this home will really only appeal to those who enjoy sea swimming and the feel of sand underfoot. The twin rooms are ideal for children. Bedding and towels aren’t included in the price but can be provided for an additional fee. 

Che Bella

On a French island with a distinct Italian culture, this apartment is surrounded by classic Corsican landscape and carefree Mediterranean charm. The craggy coastline and chic coastal towns are perfect for a discerning holiday-maker, but this tonal abode will tick all the right boxes too. Sleek, uncrowded interiors give way to a wrap-around balcony with mountain views, and the openness of the outdoor space makes it feel like an extension of the already spacious apartment. It’s definitely a spot that calls for your attention, be it for a croissant breakfast or an indulgent evening meal. Feel the blissful sun on your skin, while relaxing on the sun loungers, after a dip in the pool. Or get set off to explore the island —with Porto-Vecchio just a ten-minute drive away, plus lots of biking and hiking trails nearby, there truly is something for everyone. Not to mention, you’ll only be 3km from the beach!
