Now that's what we call a view. Whether you're relaxing on the balcony, swimming in the pool or whipping up a feast in the kitchen, you'll be able to watch the waves rolling in the sea. This bright and spacious apartment is right in the heart of Costa Rossa, a short walk from the beach, harbour and town centre. There's an open kitchen and diner for sharing meals, and a private terrace for unwinding after a day of exploring (or relaxing). Northern Sardinia's hot spots are easily accessible by car and public transport, like Costa Paradiso and Castelsardo. But if you don't feel like venturing out, you'll find everything you need in this seaside town. Start your day with an espresso, spend the afternoon sunning on the sandy beach, and watch the sun go down from one of buzzing local restaurants. Sounds good, right?

Located in the heart of Cala Rossa on Sardinia’s northern coast, this cosy beachfront apartment will charm you as soon as you walk in the door. Its outside space is comprised of two large terraces with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out in the sun – and there are glorious sea views to admire. There's also a private pool. Inside the villa is crisp and modern, though you’ll have to pay for bed and bath linen (or bring your own). When you’re not at the beach, you can soak up the rays on the hiking and cycling trails of the Gallura area – it’s best to hire a car if you want to explore.

While the swimming pool is shared with other guests staying in neighbouring apartments, the complex is quiet and residential and there are thirty apartments in total on-site. While the interiors may not rival the scenery, the modern design is clean and comfortable. It has everything you need to settle in, from inviting bedrooms to a well-appointed kitchen. Keen to hit the beach? The sandy shores in San Pietro a Mare are 1.5 kilometres away – we recommend hiring a car for ease.

There's also more than enough room for a family or group of friends. As for location, beach lovers can rejoice knowing they're only 800 meters from Palombaggia Beach.

In the rugged south of Corsica, near Bonifacio, sits this chalet-like retreat in the hills. Wood-clad outside, it blends in with the rolling scenery, where ancient woodlands cover the hills like a deep green blanket. It’s a ten-minute drive into Bonifacio, an ancient port town with a buzzing marina and medieval hilltop citadel. The villa itself is set in field-like lawns where a shady olive grove invites you for an afternoon stroll. The turquoise swimming pool sits pride of place on the deck and is lined with loungers. Outdoor dining is on offer under the shaded terrace, framed by ivy. Inside it feels natural with wooden walls and a white-wash vaulted ceiling.
