The kitchen is on the minimal side, so you’ll only be able to prepare simpler dishes – that said, you’ll want to maximise your time out sampling the local cuisine. And when you’re ready to explore, you’ve got Noto Cathedral, Baroque landmarks and gelaterias on your doorstep.

Noto Oasis

Nestled in Noto, a Sicilian city famed for its baroque architecture, this first floor apartment is thoroughly classy. Underpinned by Italian design principles, the home is dotted with designer furniture, marble and other fine materials, and contemporary artwork. It's not all cosmetic, though – the living area is good sized and comfortable, the bedroom is bright and tasteful, while the kitchen and dining area opens out onto a peaceful private terrace. With the city on your doorstep, you'll be able to sample all of Noto's delights, while Syracuse, the island's other major southern city, is a forty minute drive to the coast away.

Prickly Pear Terrace

With a hillside setting, this villa has wonderful views of the sea and Sicilian countryside. There’s a private garden, a small swimming pool, and a shaded terrace for relaxing and dining alfresco. Inside, there’s an open-plan kitchen and living space, while both bedrooms have a four-poster bed and lounge area. When you feel like exploring the locale, the city of Noto, a UNESCO Heritage Site is under 4 kilometres away. Or when you want a day at the beach, Lido di Noto is under 7 kilometres from this well-located home.

The Sicilian Sun

Sitting pretty above Noto’s honey-hued rooftops, this apartment delivers a masterclass in Baroque-meets-bold design. Ornate ceilings? Check. Vibrant tiles? Plenty. Artistic flourishes? Naturally. While the town’s historic centre buzzes below, up here it’s all calm aperitifs and lazy breakfasts on the terrace. You’re well placed to explore the architectural drama of the Val di Noto, but we wouldn’t blame you for lingering indoors in the grand elegance of the living room too. And if you’re the sort who likes a good view with their morning espresso, the rooftop terrace has your name on it.

The Mirrors of Noto

This peaceful oasis is nestled in the picturesque countryside of Noto. You can listen to the sweet sounds of nature while relaxing by the pool and there’s a wonderful shaded terrace with a barbecue for alfresco dining. Inside, the rooms offer character, comfort and all the essentials you could need to switch off and relax. Housekeeping can be arranged for an additional fee and private parking is available. Plus, it’s a great base for exploring the most beautiful spots in southeastern Sicily. From here, it’s just a short drive to the beaches of Calamosche and Isola delle Correnti, while the Baroque towns of Noto and Modica are also within easy driving distance. 

The Malena

This beautiful Sicilian villa is a great getaway for a large family or group of friends. Its modern amenities make staying here a breeze and with all bedrooms being en-suites, it’s perfect for spending quality time together while also maintaining some privacy. We love the open-plan living space with large glass patio doors that open up to the terrace, on which guests can enjoy home-cooked meals and dips in the heated saltwater pool. Located on the seafront Marina di Noto, it’s within easy reach to some stunning baroque towns of the Noto Valley, seaside resorts, as well as the city of Syracuse.

A Splash of Tangerine

Located in Lido di Noto, close to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Noto, this modern villa is an excellent base for a large group. You’ll have a private pool to swim in and will be just 30 metres from a small beach, with the slightly larger Scogliera Bianca just 200 metres away. Enjoy the sound of waves crashing to the shore from your poolside lounger, or stroll in the garden with a pre-dinner cocktail while the barbecue heats up. 

Noto's Oasis

With Lido Scogliera Bianca beach quite literally on your doorstep and sea views stretching for miles, this home makes for a relaxing coastal retreat. Unfussy on the inside, it’s suitable for families of all ages due to its single-storey nature. With direct beach access, much time will be spent soaking up the rays from the sand. Still, for trips further afield, nearby Vendicari Nature Reserve, Portopalo di Capo Passero and the baroque towns of Syracuse, Modica, Scicli and Ragus Ibla are all worth a visit.  

The Seagrass

Wake up to a sea breeze and sunshine glittering on the water at this modern villa on Sicily’s Ionian Coast. Effortlessly cool and utterly relaxing, this stripped-back apartment is the perfect place for a solo traveller or couple to bliss out in style. If exploring is on the agenda, take the short drive over to Pantanello Beach for a paddle in the Ionian Sea or head north along the coast to Syracuse, a city known for its ancient ruins, baroque piazzas and romantic restaurants tucked down cobbled streets.
