There are bars and restaurants here, or head back to this recently built home with its modern architecture and whip up some caponata for lunch in the sleek, outdoor kitchen. Back home, you'll be spoilt for choice in the amenities department. It’s also a great base from which to explore the most stunning spots of the region – the Baroque cities of Syracuse and Noto are a short drive away, while the beaches of Avola and Fontane Bianche are also within easy reach. You will need a car here, but your host can help organise car rentals along with a range of excursions. And while the rooms are basic, we think most of your time will be spent outside, admiring the views from the jacuzzi.

With direct access to crystal-clear waters and a rocky beach, guests can unwind effortlessly in the idyllic surroundings. Outside, the terrace is simple but furnished with a dining set and a seating area for enjoying refreshments alfresco.
