This premium Tuscan villa has everything you need for a dreamy escape in the Italian countryside. Private and peaceful, it's surrounded by the natural beauty of a nine acre olive estate. Feel any worries melt away in the midst of the breathtaking landscape.

Whilst being secluded, it's close enough to nearby towns for comfort and convenience. Bientina is just a five-minute drive away, an active town comprised of an olympic swimming pool, tennis courts and many fine restaurants. If you're really up for an adventure, Pisa and Florence are less than an hour away. 

But of course, you may never wish to leave the serenity of your home. Spend lazy afternoons by the pool, refreshing yourself each hour with crisp glasses of wine and fresh bread. When the sun sets on the luscious gardens, gather on the open-air table to watch the sky turn a dusty red.

If you'd prefer a cosy night in, the snug living space is a comfy spot to curl up in the evenings. Watch a film on the TV, chat about the excitement of tomorrow or just read a book amongst the tranquility. 

Breeze Into The Sun

This beautifully renovated farmhouse sits amid the rolling hills of Tuscany, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It’s a peaceful home, where you’ll start to relax within moments of arriving. The private pool boasts wonderful green views, as does the well-kept garden. A barbecue makes dining alfresco a delight, and the old barn has been converted into an enclosed veranda. Inside the villa, you’ll find an inviting blend of the contemporary and the rustic. Perfect for large groups, this villa has plenty of space. 

Olive Grove Hills

Nestled within sprawling gardens filled with Mediterranean plants, fruit and olive trees, this historic country estate boasts breathtaking views across the rolling hills of rural Tuscany. Spend blissful days stretched out by the pool, dozing on the lawn or enjoying long, lazy lunches beneath the pergola. Each of the bedrooms has its own distinct character – some even come with private sitting rooms – while a grand dining space sets the scene for family feasts. As for the location, you're surrounded by vineyards and hiking trails. The medieval village of Palaia is just a five-minute drive away, while both Florence and Pisa can be reached in about an hour.

Tuscan Country Escape

Sitting proudly amongst the Tuscan hills, this fine villa looks out across olive groves and vineyards, as well as an ancient hilltop fort. Equidistant between the provinces of Florence and Pisa, there is a wealth of cultural gems to explore, including the nearby town Vinci (of Leonardo fame). The grounds and gardens are extensive and beautiful, interspersed with olive trees and sweet-scented Mediterranean herbs. The immaculate swimming pool is set over three levels, with the Jacuzzi cascading down into the infinity pool and then on into a shallower children’s pool. Inside the handsome villa, with its classic shuttered windows and scalloped terracotta roof tiles, you’ll find a cool and calm retreat from the Tuscan sun. Exposed brickwork and natural tones of sand and honeyed stone create a calming atmosphere, and there is lovely antique furniture throughout. 

Da Vinci in Love

Set in the hills of Pisa, this villa offers a relaxing retreat from the fast pace of modern life. With a main villa and multiple apartments with separate kitchens and living areas, there are plenty of private spaces if you’re visiting as a large group. For socialising altogether, you’ll find multiple spots around the gardens, with shaded terraces, alfresco dining spaces, a children’s playground, an outdoor exercise area and a private pool. This 18th-century farmhouse is on the traditional side, so expect some older features, though we think that’s part of the charm of this home. Conveniently located between Valdera, Volterra, San Gimignano, and Pisa, you’ll be able to make the most of the Tuscan countryside and vineyards here.

The Pisan Hills

Elegant and attractive, this home boasts a peaceful location in the green hills of the Valdera Valley, southeast of Pisa. It feels a million miles from the hustle and bustle, but it’s close to the restaurants and shops of the village of Palaia. You can also easily visit Volterra and San Gimignano – if you can tear yourselves away from the private pool, that is. The south-facing terrace is a real suntrap, and you can dine alfresco thanks to the barbecue and pizza oven. There’s a main house and a converted barn, making this home ideal for a couple of families travelling together. 

Tuscan Tapestries

From the moment you lay eyes on this Tuscan home, you’ll want to settle in and stay. Nestled in a beautiful garden with stunning views, this is the perfect setting for a magical holiday. You’ll be treated to a private pool, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen and an abundance of space to stretch out and spend quality time together. There’s also an independent cottage with a games room for family entertainment and there are a range of extra services available – including private chefs and guided tours. Plus, it's possible to drive to Pisa, Lucca and Florence for inspiring day trips. 

Lemon Joy

Set on an estate dotted with trees, shrubs, and other native foliage, this home ecompasses the entire first floor of an ancient villa in Orentano. Despite sharing things like the pool, tennis court, and soccer field with another home, there is enough room on the property for it to still feel private. That’s probably helped along by the fact that you have your own private garden and barbecue – not to mention the sheer size of the home itself. Move easily between rooms and use the easy go-between as an excuse to nip into the kitchen for another cup of coffee and a dozen more biscotti to take back to where you’re reading on the plush sofa. Take the spiral staircase up to the loft where you’ll find the rustic bedrooms and bathrooms for when you’re ready to turn in at night. When you think loft, you might conjure up images of a tight squeeze, but the addition of the skylights in almost every room here allows the light to make the space feel more open. 

With the host and his family living on the estate, you’ll sometimes find yourself around the table enjoying their homemade pasta alfresco with soft music playing in the background. There’s also a brick pizza oven here, so don’t be surprised if you eat more margarita than you’d care to – we know, that is not even remotely possible. 

When you’re not enjoying the home, you can make a trip to Pisa, Voltera, or Florence – each with their unique charm – or borrow the bicycles and simply explore the surroundings on two wheels instead of four. After a day of activity under the Tuscan sun, take a late-night swim in the heated pool, and when you’re ready to return inside, why not linger a little while longer to gaze up at the stars. 

Tuscan Welcome

Already built by the 17th century, according to the Medici maps drawn up then, this medieval borghi might even be decades older. Though we're unsure of its age, there's no doubt of its beauty. The interior with exposed beams and brick is what you'd expect from an older home, but the traditional style might feel dated to some. Still, it's comfortable and charming, giving way to a sweeping garden. Kids will love the opportunity to run around on the lush green grass whilst adults take advantage of the sun loungers, poolside and terrace seating. Our favourite is the dining table under the vine-covered pergola. You'll find the renowned spas of Casciana Terme or Monsummano Terme minutes away.

Tuscan Essence

Tucked in the verdant heart of Tuscany, this home offers peace, tranquility and wonderful views. There’s also a large garden with a pool, a Jacuzzi, a terrace with a barbecue and an outdoor children’s play area – making this a great option for families. The rooms are set across the main house and three independent apartments (each with a living room and kitchen). Events and parties are allowed with prior approval from the host. Plus, it’s a fantastic base for exploring the region. From here, it’s possible to drive to Volterra, San Gimignano and Pisa. There’s also a great pizza restaurant just a short walk away. 


The Tuscan Love

Set in a quiet location in the Tuscan countryside, this home has a private terrace to relax on and there's a large garden with a swimming pool (there are also shared grounds). The colourful and rustic interiors are packed with characterful features and the living room has a sofa bed for guests three and four. Out and about, the medieval town of Fucecchio is just over 4 kilometres away. Vinci, famous for being the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance artist Leonardo Da Vinci, is also just under 15 kilometres from this idyllic home.

Tuscany Time

Perfect for family gatherings, this home is nestled between Florence and Pisa, just outside the village of Palaia. Surrounded by green hills and rolling Tuscan countryside, you'll be treated to fantastic views and plenty of space to roam. It consists of a main villa and a separate two-bedroom annexe ideal for teens or older relatives. Despite its traditional style, the interiors are cosy, although the garden is certainly the highlight. The seasonal pool takes centre stage, while the terrace has ample room for dining alfresco. If you're after a typical Tuscan pad emphasising outdoor living, this is just the ticket.
