Step into centuries of Florentine elegance in this unique apartment set within a prestigious palace in the heart of Oltrarno. Built around 1470,  every room tells a story, with grand frescoes, soaring ceilings and antique furnishings. Three lavish living areas, a formal dining room, and richly decorated bedrooms offer a truly regal experience. You’ll even enter through a majestic inner courtyard adorned with statues. While the kitchen and bathrooms feel compact and dated compared to the grandeur elsewhere, they serve their purpose – and you’re unlikely to mind. After all, it’s not every day you wake up surrounded by history, art and architecture this spectacular. This is a one-of-a-kind stay you won’t forget.

Palatial Grandeur 

Stunning panoramic views await in this top-floor studio apartment. The scenery speaks for itself – you'll wake up to Palazzo Pitti and drift off to the Duomo. Perched in the building's watchtower, it's part of an ancient palace dating back to 1470. If you love traditional features, this is the home for you – expect terracotta floors, wooden ceilings, a Renaissance courtyard steeped in history, and, of course, large windows that frame the Florentine skyline. Granted, there are a few things to note here. The kitchen is compact, and there are quite a lot of stairs. Still, with vistas as good as this and an impeccable location, we think that's a worthwhile compromise.

Perfectly located for historic city wandering, just steps from the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, this modern apartment in an elegant Florentine building is both classic and comfortable. Located on the second floor of a historic building with a lift, it features a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and air-conditioned two bedrooms with views of the city's most frequented streets. In this central location, there's no better spot to explore all Florence has to offer – but pack earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

Heart of the Renaissance

Wow, were the words we uttered when we walked into the living room of this home and saw the stunning views of the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and River Arno. The vistas are even better from the balcony – it's the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and the Florentine skyline. Housed in a beautiful building, this recently renovated, elegant apartment is a lovely place to spend time in with its designer sofa, marble fireplace and gorgeous herringbone patterned wood floors.

If you want to explore what you can see from this home, it's around a thirty-second stroll to Ponte Vecchio, while the Uffizi Gallery is a four-minute walk. It's the same walking distance to Palazzo Pitti, one of Florence's largest architectural monuments. Other attractions nearby include the Strozzi Palace, which is eight minutes on foot. This home is ideal for two couples, a group of friends or a family wanting to be within walking distance of this glorious city's treasures.



A Window On Florence

It’s rare to find a garden apartment in the centre of Florence, especially one that only shares its plant-filled courtyard with one other home. Guests here have access to a big courtyard garden, furnished for evening drinks or meals outside and with a solarium should the weather turn. Glass double doors lead into the open kitchen, dining and living room where there are all the basics for meals at home. That’s if you’re not too busy exploring the Tuscan eateries on your doorstep. In the centre of Florence, this apartment is footsteps from the Ponte Vecchio and it’s a short stroll to the world-famous Uffizi Gallery.

A Touch of Grace

Overlooking Piazza della Signoria, this apartment has a fantastic address. Attractions such as the Fountain of Neptune, Piazza del Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio are all within a very short stroll. Back at this apartment, housed in a historic palazzo, you can take in the views over Piazza della Signoria – the vistas here are stunning. The living area is a great place to relax after a busy day in Florence – this room also sleeps guests five and six on a sofa bed. This home is a great find.

Piazza Vista

Set close to the Chianti town of Tavernuzze and with postcard-perfect Florence just a short drive away, the location of this traditional villa is spot on. Perfect for a multi-generational family getaway, along with the main house, there is an annexe en-suite bedroom – perfect for guests looking for extra privacy. It’s worth noting that the homeowner and their dog live on the wider grounds, and the family may occasionally use the pool. But those terraces with a pizza oven and built-in barbecue are all yours for alfresco evening meals. Time it right, and you’ll be rewarded with magnificent sunsets over the surrounding vineyards and cypress trees. 

Umberto Hills

When we came across this quaint apartment, we did a double-take. While it may be a bit old-school in style, it has lots of charm for a city stay. Set on the third floor, with a private balcony overlooking the rooftops of Florence, there's no lack of character here – that being said, it may feel a little dated in parts. And, while the bedrooms are semi-open, limiting privacy, its location in the historic district makes it a good choice for those keen to be close to the action. 

Window to Florence

Sitting pretty near the banks of the River Arno, this top-floor apartment enjoys spellbinding views over Florence. You can soak them up from whichever terrace takes your fancy – there are two to choose from here – but there’s only enough space for a couple of people on each, so make sure to choose your cocktail companion wisely. Inside, though, there’s plenty of space to get together as a group with sofa beds offering flexible sleeping arrangements. There’s a dedicated desk in the study too – perfect for writing your postcards back home, or if you really must, catching up on work. 

Florence Love

Located on a hilltop in Florentine Chianti, this elegant, aristocratic home has glorious vistas over the surrounding hills, covered with vineyards and olive groves. It sits within a renowned wine estate producing excellent quality wines, which you can taste in the medieval cellar situated in the basement. The villa has a manicured lawn with a lovely swimming pool, a tennis court and a five-a-side football pitch to keep everyone entertained. Get some shade under the centuries-old pines and cedars of Lebanon, or pick some lemons and herbs for a G&T.

Inside, a grand staircase in pietra serena, a grey sandstone used extensively in Renaissance Florence, makes a stunning feature. Classical sculptures, opulent chandeliers and interesting artworks adorn the living spaces. After creating a Tuscan feast in the kitchen, entertain your guests at the piano. We adore the countryside views that stretch towards the centre of Florence and the towering dome of Brunelleschi from the two turrets, connected by a panoramic roof terrace.

This home is just a four-minute drive from Impruneta, a town renowned for its terracotta products and excellent red wine. Or head to historic Florence, where you'll find art masterpieces and beautiful renaissance architecture. For golf lovers, the Golf Club Ugolino is a fifteen-minute drive away. At this home, it's easy to create unforgettable holiday memories.



An Ode To Wine

From the moment you arrive at this graceful two-bedroom apartment, you are taken back to a bygone era of Florence. In keeping with the city’s Renaissance art and architecture, this home is an unaltered celebration of baroque styling and Florentine furnishings. 

Culture-seekers will love the authentic living area, with beautifully aged wooden tables, warm chandelier lighting, and quaint floral paintings.
