This apartment is situated in an excellent spot for exploring Venice. Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge, and Campo San Giovanni e Paolo are all a short walk away. The historic building even has its own bridge over the canal, so you'll only need to open the windows to admire the gondolas passing by. As far as design, it's super stylish. We love the mix of old and new, as well as the patterned wallpaper in the bedrooms. Two guests will sleep on a sofa bed, but in such a central location, that's a decent compromise.

We love the vistas of Venice from this apartment. You can see a large number of sights without leaving home – how amazing is that? From the Bacino San Marco and the Lido, to San Servolo, and San Lazzaro degli Armeni, it's all there waiting to be admired. But that's not all – you can also see San Giorgio, the Punta Della Dogana and the beginning of the Grand Canal and more. We can imagine experiencing the Redentore Festival and New Year's Eve here, watching the wonderful show of boats and fireworks on the lagoon. 

This place is great for entertaining – there are two large sofas to accommodate everyone easily in the living room. The space has traditional terrazzo floors and prints depicting Venetian scenery. Or head to the library and read a book if you want some peace and quiet.

This apartment's location is excellent as well. St Mark's Square is just 500 metres away, so why not explore this iconic sight and then stop off for a coffee and some cake at one of its cafes? There's a water taxi stop 100 metres away, too, for when you want to discover more of this city's gems.

Inside this apartment, you can watch gondolas passing on the canal or take in the vistas over the terracotta rooftops. The decor is traditional, and there’s a lived-in vibe, so this home may not suit minimalists. But if you need to work from home, you’ll be glad to know there are a couple of desks here.

In a city with so many incredible accommodation options, you'll know that you made the right choice from the moment you lay your eyes on the jaw-dropping 360-degree views from the rooftop. With Marco Polo Airport and the Dolomites to the North and every tower and rooftop in Venice immediately surrounding you – it's even better than the photos. We'd encourage at least one early morning wake-up call to take in the changing colours as the sun rises, while a sunset Prosecco goes down a treat at the end of a long day of exploring. Fancy some fresh air? Where better to have a  negroni, than on the communal terrace overlooking the canal? With plenty of restaurants within walking distance – you'll have lots of choices. That said, the supermarket is just a two-minute walk away, so you can brush up on your pasta skills.

This Venetian home has a gem of a location in the Arsenal district of Venice, which houses the Naval History Museum. It’s just a five-minute walk to the Biennale Gardens, an area created by Napoleon at the beginning of the nineteenth century, while St Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge are just fifteen minutes on foot. If you prefer to use the water bus, there’s a Vaporetto stop located a few steps away from the apartment, so you can easily reach Piazzale Roma or Murano Island.

Even though it was recently renovated, Jewel Tones nevertheless manages to hold on to its character. Upon walking in you’re greeted by an open living space with high ceilings and large windows letting in lots of natural light. The impressive array of both vintage and modern furnishings makes for a vibrant atmosphere, with plenty of room to sit and relax, or to entertain. The two full bathrooms are also a bit of a luxury. And it's located in a quiet alley, so it there's plenty of peace and quiet despite being on the ground floor in San Marco.

This lovely apartment can be found in a quiet part of Venice, tucked away from the crowds of tourists in an authentic neighbourhood. You’ll get to live as Venetians do – but you’re also within a short stroll of all the major sights so you really get the best of both worlds.

Saint Mark’s Square is a thirteen-minute walk from the apartment, where you can admire the architecture as you sip coffee. A leisurely twenty-five-minute wander will take you to Ponte dell’Accademia, which boasts one of the most spectacular views of the Grand Canal.
