Stepping inside, you’ll find a warm and stylish interior, but you’ll probably want to be making the most of your garden. Find total relaxation in this private, gated community, with tall walls providing a secluded haven. Spend lazy days by the plunge pool, chatting under the sun around the outdoor sofa set. 

When day turns to dusk, head upstairs to the boho-chic rooftop terrace to watch the blue sky twist into shades of pink and purple around the desert mountain landscape. The hours easily roll by here, sinking into the plush egg chair or enjoying a few cocktails on the sofa. When the sun goes down and the desert air starts to chill, it's the perfect time to hop into your bubbling hot tub. 

Come dinnertime, a barbecued feast is always a winner. Or you can explore your location of Midtown and its eateries, before taking the short walk Downtown for a night of bar-hopping. 

Cali Casablanca 

You'll be impressed from the moment you step inside this colourful home brimming with bold designs and patterns, the studio's stylish living room is the ultimate place to feel inspired. If you want to top up your tan, you'll have your own private patio, with two loungers and a fire pit for when the temperature drops. Alternatively, head down to the refreshing swimming pool and soak up the sun while you admire the mountainous views, then rest in the jacuzzi as the skies turn pink. Out and about, step out onto the popular Palm Canyon Drive and follow a line of edgy shops and tasteful eateries all the way to downtown (a twenty-minute walk) – when your feet can't take anymore, hop on The Buzz for a free ride home. Or jump on one of the complimentary beach cruisers and explore the Old Las Palmas area, where you'll find an array of stylish galleries, design stores, restaurants and tiki bars, under a minute by bike.

Saunter Through Life

Part of a country club with an impressive list of shared facilities, this little gem is a colourful, cosy home for a couple or a solo traveller. Whether you're here to play golf and sun yourself or to hike in the mountains, this is the perfect base in Palm Springs. Plus its styling gives a more than passing nod to the atomic era, with a 1960s-style tulip dining table and sputnik-inspired curtains. 

Here the toughest decision you need to make is which activity to choose from between the on-site tennis, golf or swimming pools. There's a clubhouse restaurant and cocktail lounge to try out, but it's just a five-minute drive to downtown for all the restaurants and shops you could need. And when you get home, sip drinks on your terrace with views of the surrounding mountians.

Little Atomic

Perched right on the edge of the Mesquite Golf Club, this home is the perfect spot for setting up your next putt. This home is a breath of fresh air whether you’re here to practice your swing or explore Palm Spring’s cacti-scattered landscape.

This home helps show off the best of this desert community - brimming with cool natural hues, mid-century furnishings and eclectic artworks. Open up the industrial-style patio doors to reveal your plush green lawn where you can sit and discuss today’s birdies and bogeys. The kitchen is fully kitted out so you can enjoy lunch in your stunning mirrored dining room. Heading outside, take in the vistas of the surrounding canyons before taking a dip in the shared pool - this home is part of a small gated community so you’ll have the perfect opportunity to meet your neighbours and plan tomorrow’s tournament. Spend the evening in the neighbouring hot tub - you’ll need to soak your muscles after a game of tennis on the shared courts - loser makes the mojitos?

Take your pick of golf course, with Mesquite, Tahquitz Creek, Cathedral Canyon and Escena all within a ten-minute drive. If you’re here to explore the hiking trails, the Araby Trail across the Santa Rosa Mountains is seven minutes by car.

Mesquite Mulligan

This home is a breathtaking piece of art and love. The Preservation Design Award from the California Preservation Foundation and a 2021 Best Residential Preservation Award from the Southern California Development Forum are just a couple of the accolades this home boasts. Design enthusiasts will adore this glorious space, for its mid-century architecture with hallmark curved roof (thoughtfully built to echo the shape of the San Jacinto Mountains behind it), and for the vintage modernist furnishings. Built in 1955 as a sculptor’s studio, the house was renovated in 2020 and combines those all-important design elements with luxurious touches. Think a private Ofuro soaking tub, personal whiskey and amaro bar, and a Sonos and vintage Bose sound system complete with a curated record collection. The dreamy lounge opens out to the striking garden area thanks to lofty floor-to-ceiling windows. We recommend renting a bike to explore the city, or following the hiking trails on the handy map provided. After a day exploring Palm Springs and the surrounding desert, enjoy an invigorating sleep on sumptuous Frette Italian linens.

Desert Wave

With a five-acre stretch of property at your disposal, this stunning A-frame cabin near the world-famous Joshua Tree National Park takes peace and tranquillity very seriously. Wake up in the four-poster bed every morning before making your way downstairs to get the coffee brewing. Take a seat on the porch, breathing in the fresh air as you admire the beauty of the desert in the morning sun. 

There are plenty of cosy spots for you to curl up in with a good book – think a sofa and footstool next to the window or a cushy rattan chair in the bedroom – our favourite remains the hammock right next to the plunge pool. Bask in the sun, enjoy a cold brew, and listen to the sound of the birds. Feel the soft breeze on your skin, smell the desert in the air – what bliss.

Couples can take a dip in the pool together at sundown, but first, treat yourself to a picnic out on the deck. Grab a throw and cover your knees as you sit down around the firepit for s’mores after sunset. Enjoy a cup of steaming cocoa as you stargaze, content with this secluded patch of land that really feels like a private paradise. 

After a luxurious soak in the clawfoot tub, you can snuggle up on the sofa and enjoy a movie as you wind down after a wonderful day. If you’re in the mood for a little more activity the next day, head to Joshua Tree National Park or hike some of the more local trails on offer. 

Finch Cabin

This little Palm Springs pad just pops. From the minute you walk through the door, the quirky neon touches and fun flourishes are guaranteed to put a smile on even the surliest of faces. An eclectic mix of mid-century modern meets carefully chosen kitsch, this home entertains. It also manages to make self-contained feel pretty sumptuous – we love the stylish, platinum seating area and the resplendent, nickel-coloured bed. This cool chalet-style home is one of four that share a fabulous outdoor area. You can sip cocktails by the poolside, sit in the shade of the swaying palm trees, make s’mores around the fire pit or cook some real food on the barbecue. On a quiet street at the northern end of Palm Springs, where you’ll find the newest shops and restaurants, you’ll be close to the Aerial Tramway and just a few minutes drive from downtown. 

Every Cloud

Relax and recharge in this striking home, where you'll wake up from a great night's sleep in the comfy bed and stroll into the stylish kitchen for your morning coffee. Watch the sunrise over the mountains from your private balcony, and get ready for the day among the inspiring, bold colours and patterns. When you need to cool off from the heat, go for a refreshing dip in the communal pool, listen to the sounds of the water fountain and take in the gorgeous views of the mountains. There's a communal jacuzzi, too, if you need to relax and soothe aching muscles or, alternatively, unwind with a game on the mini-putt. In the evening,  practice your cocktail-making skills in the modern kitchen or lounge in the living room with a glass of red. If you don't fancy staying in, sample the bars and restaurants on your doorstep. It's a four-minute walk to the heart of the Old Las Palmas neighbourhood, a Hollywood stars' playground in the 1920s – you'll find stylish galleries, design stores, and tiki bars aplenty here. Downtown Palm Springs, on the other hand, is just a twenty-minute walk, or take advantage of the complimentary beach cruisers.

The Wayfarer Way

In the dramatic desert landscape of Araby Cove, this little rustic gem could almost be mistaken for part of the rocky hillside. But is that a chimney we spy? And aren’t those sun loungers? A round cottage, built from stone, it’s cosy and cute. Perched on a hilltop, the views from the yard and the huge picture-frame window at the heart of the living space are simply breathtaking. Inside, the stone walls and circular wooden ceiling ooze boho chic. The four-poster bed, tucked into one side, provides a luxurious sleeping nook and candles in the stone fireplace add a touch of romance. The cottage-style kitchen is compact but has everything you could need. Besides, there's a barbecue and dining area on the patio for meals under the desert stars. The area is said to be a ‘wind free zone’, with great hiking and mountain bike trails on the doorstep, and Palm Springs is just a short drive away.

The Rock House

Idyllically set in Chino canyon, Palm Springs, this holiday dwelling is a nostalgic leap into the 1950s. Meticulously preserved elements honour its mid-century roots.
