Built in 1972 and now looked after by your lovely hosts, Jenna and Michael,  this woodlands home is a wonderfully minimalist yet cosy cabin tucked into the foothills of Los Padres National Park. Your hosts have lovingly created a space that invites you to relax, recuperate and engage in creative projects for a vacation you won't soon forget. They've even gathered a series of recipes from professional chefs, developed specifically for the cabin. Filled with original works of art and surrounded by mountains, this lodge is a haven for those that need to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Once you book, your hosts will put you in touch with a personal concierge who can take care of everything. Get cosy and comfortable in front of the fire, enjoy lavish dinners under the vaulted ceiling, go for long walks in nature (the Pine Mountain hiking trails are five minutes away) and be sure to sit out at night and gaze up at the stars. 

Written In The Stars

In the centre of downtown Paso Robles, this stylish apartment puts you close to shops, restaurants and, of course, wine tasting rooms. The hills around Paso are filled with California’s best wineries where Zinfandel and Petit Sirah grapes grow plump on the vine. Indulge in a warming Pinot Noir in the living room, where faux fur cushions invite you to cosy up on the mid-century-style sofa. The sleek, black kitchen has everything you need, including plenty of room for a few bottles of Chardonnay in the big American-style fridge. If you want to switch it up a bit the cute bar trolley is set with everything needed to mix up a few Martinis and when sleep beckons, the huge king-size bed in the master bedroom awaits.

The Viticulturalist

The host of this renovated beach hut in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea has done a stellar job in retaining the home's historical character while also ensuring it belongs well and truly in the twenty-first century. Pinewood flooring, original windows and the stone fireplace are accompanied by industrial-inspired lighting, furnishings in an angelic shade of white and pops of colour from prints hanging on the wall. At the back of the house, there's a covered porch and a terrace complete with alfresco seating and a barbecue — that's summer afternoons sorted, then. When the sun does makes an appearance — which isn't unheard of in these parts — a ten-minute walk down Ocean Avenue will get you to Carmel Beach, while there are a host of art galleries and restaurants that surround the home.

Pinewood & Prints

Tucked away into the hills above Laguna Beach, All-Star is within easy walking distance of hiking trails, restaurants, children’s parks, the beach, and nightlife venues. Of course, you also get to enjoy wonderful canyon views and peek-a-boo ocean views from this elevated position. But the best part of All-Star is what’s inside. This elegant space was recently remodelled with its guests in mind. Delight in the seamless flow of indoor and outdoor living, make the most of this peaceful setting, spend quality time together in the chic living area or chit chat around the breakfast bar while others prepare a delicious meal in the state-of-the-art kitchen. Hang out on the deck or explore over 10,000 square feet of backyard.

All-Star

Nestled into the immaculate beach community of Emerald Bay, this Laguna Beach home perfectly embodies its Southern California location. Walk or take a golf cart to the private beach, then head over to the community pool for a swim and a soak in the jacuzzi. There are also six tennis courts, bikes for rental, as well as yoga and exercise classes available. More importantly, you can easily get to plenty of outstanding restaurants within a short drive, so all you have to worry about is where to enjoy splendid meals. Inside, guests will find a one-level home with exquisite vaulted ceilings, a modern and sleek kitchen and fabulous sea views. With its three comfortable bedrooms, a family or a group of friends are guaranteed to have a relaxing trip to the coast.

Paradise Laguna Beach

Settle into a relaxing pace of life at this stylish southwest-style home in California’s sunny Orange. With its wood floors, large windows and Navajo-inspired decor, you’ll instantly feel the laid-back Cali vibes here, especially with your private balcony to soak up some rays. With a dedicated desk space too, you’ll have no trouble catching up on work, but with countless shared facilities to enjoy within your building's grounds, we recommend less work and more play.

Head to the on-site gym for a morning workout or stake your claim on one of the outdoor bicycle machines before making a beeline for the shared pool. While away hours taking refreshing dips in its waters or bask under the sun on one of the countless deck chairs on the communal lawn. Sandy shores await just down the street via a set of steps, or you can jump in the car and make the short one-minute drive to Leadbetter beach.
