This location is hard to beat – located between Chelsea and Greenwich Village, you’ll have New York’s cultural institutions and acclaimed restaurants at your fingertips. There’s a balcony for sipping your morning coffee, though this central locale isn’t the most peaceful as you might expect. The interiors are modern and perfectly practical for a city break – your host provides a full working setup too, should you be visiting on business. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances, though we’re sure you'll want to sample the neighbourhood spots on your doorstep.

Chelsea Charms

This airy rooftop apartment places you in New York City's Greenwich Village, ideal for a city escape. Spread over the top two floors of a four-storey building, you'll need to climb stairs here. But we think the views from the rooftop terrace are lovely, and there's seating and a table for enjoying evening drinks or alfresco meals up there. Public transport and hotspots like Central Park and the Empire State Building are within easy reach, so whether you're travelling for work or simply sightseeing, you won't get more central than this.

Manhattan City Sky

Stay in prime Midtown with this freshly renovated home. It’s just under twenty minutes on foot to one of New York’s most famous landmarks, the Empire State Building, or Madame Tussauds New York is just over a five-minute stroll. Fashionistas, on the other hand, can head to the Garment District, home to the biggest concentration of fashion designers and manufacturers in the USA – just a four-minute wander. After all that sightseeing, you’ll need somewhere super comfy to chill out in – this apartment is perfect. We love the luxurious touches such as velvet curtains and the marble countertops, as well as the artworks dotted around this abode. If you're in the Big Apple on business, you’ll be glad to know there are desks here too. Stylish and practical – this apartment offers the best of both worlds.

Young Lion

With a whopping 5,700 square feet, it doesn’t get much more spacious than this loft in NYC, stretching an entire block of Fifth Avenue. Inside you’ll find three large living areas, in sleek black and white with fur blankets adding a touch of comfort. The twelve-person dining table is crowned with a modernist chandelier above, like a work of art, and exposed pillars and huge windows throughout give you that real New York loft feeling. The kitchen isn’t short of space either, with a pendant-lamp lit island creating a social space during mealtimes, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area if you want to eat out – you’re in the beating centre of New York after all. When the time comes to hit the hay, each bedroom has a king- or queen-size bed and each one has its own walk-in wardrobe so there’s no need to pack light.

Suite Life

Set in a beautifully renovated historic building, this cosy apartment has been decorated by the host with their own artwork and various vintage objects that have been collected during trips around the world. A perfect base for a city break with your friends or little ones, this funky apartment offers all essential modern conveniences. Even though you’re in the heart of the city that never sleeps, you’ll enjoy peace and quiet thanks to the triple glazing. On top of that, you have access to a cosy private garden where you can kick off your morning with a cup of coffee amongst the greenery. Prep some burgers on the grill to enjoy at the end of the day. Don’t worry if cooking isn’t your thing – you’re in the heart of SoHo where there are restaurants, bars and cafes on every corner. Fashion capital of NYC, you also have an unlimited choice of boutiques to explore. Best of all, your host, who lives in the same building, is always happy to recommend the best places to eat, the best shows to see and anything else in-between. You'll feel like a local in no time.

The Art Affair

We love this stylish home's location in hip Tribeca, a neighbourhood known for its cobblestone streets lined with fashionable boutiques and chic restaurants. Chinatown is a twenty-minute walk or eight-minute ride, while the One World Trade Centre is eight minutes on foot. The iconic Empire State building is a fifteen-minute drive (just over twenty minutes on the bicycles your lovely host Yvonne provides), or if you fancy some green space, Washington Market Park is a mere two-minute stroll.

Back at this apartment, head up to the gorgeous, private roof terrace and take in the views over the Freedom Tower. Inside, textural 3D artworks adorn the walls, and dark oak floors are enlivened with colourful rugs and furnishings. For the kids, there's a fantastic play area with plenty of toys, books and games. There's a home cinema set up too. Our favourite feature, though, has to be the swing in the living area – so random and yet so right. This playful home is perfect for a family.





It Don’t Mean a Thing if It Ain’t Got That Swing	

Located in NYC's famous West Village – known for its jazz clubs, restaurants, late-night coffeehouses and trendy boutiques – this practical pad welcomes you to experience the buzz of Manhattan living. While the apartment does have space limitations, both double bedrooms are cosy and comforting, plus you'll find a desk if you need to work from home. It's also worth noting that the kitchenette is only suitable for preparing lighter meals, but that said, you'll find plenty of tempting dining options right on your doorstep. There's also a sofa bed in the living area which we suggest is better used for flexible sleeping arrangements rather than extra guests. 

City Walk

Location is everything here! Situated on a really charming street in Greenwich Village, The Itty-Bitty is perfectly positioned to some of the city's best restaurants and bars. This is a 300-square foot walk-up, but so long as you don't intend to do some serious cooking or massively spread out, this cosy apartment will do just the trick. 


The Itty-Bitty

Experience one of New York's trendiest areas from this sleek apartment nestled in the heart of Greenwich Village. You'll be within easy reach of Union Square market, with hip eateries and bars nearby. For those on a sightseeing trip, popular spots such as Flatiron Building, the Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden are all a short walk away. With a well-equipped kitchen and dining table there's potential for eating in, while the laptop-friendly desk serves as a nice space for working remotely – though some street noise should be expected. 

Manhattan's Calling

This charming duplex lies in Manhattan's West Village. Spread over multiple levels with the kitchen up on the mezzanine, groups will have plenty of space here, though you'll need to climb a lot of stairs. If you're looking for a home base while working remotely, you'll find computer equipment and standing desks to maximise productivity. The private garden is spread over two tiers and is equipped for barbecues, with outdoor seating and sun loungers. While children and little ones aren't permitted, we think friend groups will love it here thanks to its proximity to bars, restaurants and shops.

Madison Square South

If you're architecturally-minded and like the idea of staying in an elegant home with original period features, sash windows and the like, and want to be in a super central, hip part of town, then the Greenwich Bolthole might be just the place. The bedroom might be on the snug side, but the living room has lovely, roomy proportions and is flooded with natural light. It's a great place to come back to and recharge after a hectic day's sightseeing before heading out again to the the vibrant local restaurant and bar scene.


Greenwich Bolthole

This cosy home is located in the heart of the Upper West Side, just a short walk from Central Park and the Hudson River. As you’d expect from a studio, space is limited here, but the location and on-site amenities – which include a gym – more than make up for the smaller space. We think the kitchenette is best suited to light bites, as with no oven, you won’t be able to create grand culinary creations – but with an abundance of New York restaurants on your doorstep, dining out is a must.
