This apartment is just a few steps away from the sandy San Lorenzo beach near Marzamemi town The highlights of Eastern Sicily – Noto, Modica and Syracuse – are all an easy drive away. The decor in the open living, kitchen and dining room is simple and functional because days here were meant to be spent outside in the Sicilian sun. Soak up the rays on a lounger on deck, sip chilled Grillo on the shaded terrace and embrace the island’s rustic cooking style at the wood-fired barbecue. 

Moon & Stars

Perched on the edge of San Lorenzo beach, this Mediterranean-inspired home invites you to experience a rejuvenating stay on the Sicilian coast. 

With panoramic views across the horizon, the owners have sensitively styled this villa to reflect and celebrate the abundant beauty of its surroundings. 

Bathed in natural light, the interiors provide a calming sanctuary – the perfect setting for socialising, relaxing and enjoying the laid-back pace of coastal living. Make your way upstairs and you’ll find the rooftop terrace is perfectly poised to bring the ultimate state of relaxation. Featuring a jacuzzi with a shaded seating area, this is a wonderful spot to begin your day with a quiet morning coffee or later with golden-hour drinks. 

Back downstairs, the space opens up onto a serene garden, barbecue area and swimming pool. And with direct access to one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, there’s everything you could need for a fulfilling stay. 

Days can be spent without agenda or exploring the spectacular towns of Val di Noto. The majestic streets of historic Noto are just a thirty-minute drive away, while the crystal clear waters of the Vendicari nature reserve are a twenty-minute drive away.

The Lilac Sea

Located in the heart of San Lorenzo, you'll be just a four-minute walk away from the nearest beach and residing in one of Sicily's most picturesque beach towns. 

At the villa, an indoor-outdoor living set-up means you can soak up the sunshine (and those views!) in nothing but pure comfort. Whether you're sunbathing out on the panoramic terrace, enjoying a dip in the pool or sipping on a homemade cocktail under the rooftop pergola – it's safe to say the scenery here will leave you awestruck. 

While we reckon you'll most likely spend the majority of your time making the most of the home's exterior – its interior is just as lavish, and you'll find four private suites, each boasting its own bathroom. 


The villa will keep you well connected by car to some of the most beautiful towns of south-eastern Sicily. Don't miss a day trip to Noto, for example – under a thirty-minute drive away. 

Treasure of the Sea 

Set back from Marzamemi’s stunning shores, this charming villa with a minimal interior makes for an idyllic home. Surrounded by Ionian sea views and a luscious lawn, this home is perfectly situated so that you can make the most of your coastal environment as well as access the nearby beaches, a short drive away.

As soon as you arrive you will feel instantly at ease as you settle into the contemporary living space – we love the modern take on traditional tiling, the blue accents and patterned walls. Wake up in your own oasis – each bedroom is engulfed in tranquillity with large windows inviting the sea breeze in. The stylish living space opens out to a terrace overlooking the coastline for prime panoramas - it’s bliss.

Spend afternoons poolside, soaking up the sun on the sleek loungers or on the balcony with your new book and Ionian sea vistas. There’s a sleek kitchen should you fancy preparing a Mediterannean feast for your loved ones. Gather together on the outdoor dining patio, with a bottle of Nero d’Avola and the sunset to accompany you. 

Drive five minutes for an afternoon at San Lorenzo’s beach, the waters are shallow and crystal clear, then settle into one of the local seafront tavernas for a selection of seafood. When you’re ready, head home for a stargazing session on your rooftop terrace –  it’s the perfect way to end a day in paradise.

A Mirage on Marzamemi

This stunning home tucked away on Southern Italy’s coastline offers a perfect slice of Sicilian paradise. With the beach on your doorstep, listen to the soothing waves while sunbathing on the rooftop terrace or by your private swimming pool. Behind its cute garden and iconic facade, you’ll find a big, open area which makes communal living a breeze. From its living spaces, each bedroom is uniquely designed with meticulous attention to detail. While it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which one is our favourite, we’re particular fans of the clever spiral bookshelf, swirly lamps, vibrant, intricate wallpaper, quirky mirrors and just about every other piece that gives this home its distinctive character. 

If you do manage to tear yourself away, head on out to the historic city of Syracuse, just ten minutes away by car, to sample local delicacies and sumptuous Sicilian wines, and shop for souvenirs of your time on this spectacular island. We highly recommend sampling some of the local seafood at one of the nearby restaurants, which is out of this world. With more to see than one getaway could fit in, we are sure you will never want to leave the island.



Casa Isola

Stepping outside, you’ll find the island’s most beautiful beaches are only a short walk away, alongside all the amenities you could need for a fulfilling stay. Mingle with locals on San Lorenzo beach - only a thirteen-minute walk. For a day of exploring we suggest winding your way through the cobbled streets of Marzamemi. This charming fishing village has a wonderful selection of restaurants, bars and shops, plus it's only a seven-minute drive away. 

Some of the island's oldest towns and villages can be found in this region. Immerse yourself in the rich history of Sicily and explore the baroque town of the Val di Noto, or visit the ancient ruins in Syracuse - a forty-four-minute drive. Nature lovers will find themselves drawn to the stunning landscape and hiking trails of Vendicari Nature Reserve - a seventeen-minute drive away. 

After a day of breathtaking views and sea-side fun, you’ll love coming home to relax on the terrace, light the barbecue and watch the sunset over the horizon. 

Haven Of Helios

Just minutes from the nearest sandy beach, this villa boasts views of the Ionian sea, its own private pool, and two terraces. With some small steps up to the pool and main terrace, it may not be suitable for all guests with limited mobility. But the flexible sleeping arrangement and provided cot and high chair mean it's great for families or friend groups travelling together.  We recommend hiring a car for visiting Marzamemi and the Taormina nature reserve, as well as popular Sicilian spots like Noto.

The Royal Cottage

There's a reason many people consider Sicily to be a magical place to visit, and it's homes like this that show you why. Immerse yourself in an Italian paradise at this wonderful villa in the San Lorenzo area of the island. The swimming pool is the focal point of the home here. Whether you're putting on a breakfast pastry spread for the family to dive into on the terrace, or barbequing vegetables in the outside cooking area, you'll love gazing at the pool's turquoise water. We especially like the idea of picking up some local Sicilian cherries and enjoying them in the garden with a view. Life moves slowly here, and that's exactly how we like it! 

The home itself is a mirror of beauty to the turquoise water outside of it. Modern in design and flawless in execution, you'll have a hard time tearing yourself away from this plush pad. But considering the gems waiting to be discovered in Sicily, you're going to have to at times. Why not make the six-minute drive to Marzamemi to explore a picturesque fishing village, or visit one of the area's most beautiful beaches, San Lorenzo? It's only a fifteen-minute walk. We have a funny feeling you're going to like it here.

Turquoise Gaze

Moments from the beach, this single-level villa ticks all the boxes when it comes to location. A short drive away is the fishing village of Marzamemi, while Noto and Syracuse are further afield and ideal for day trips. But, with the beach practically on your doorstep and fantastic sea vistas to marvel at back home, you won't have to travel far to experience Sicilian life. There's also a private swimming pool and terrace ideal for alfresco dining, but the real draw is the rooftop, where a bubbling Jacuzzi awaits. The practical interiors could be more impressive – and two guests will sleep on the sofa bed – but the area, views, and sun-kissed outdoor spaces make it a good choice.

Sicilian Queen

A stone's throw from Agua Beach, this villa is situated in a seafront complex near sandy bars and eateries. The close proximity to the neighbouring homes may not suit private types but if you’re staying as a larger group, all three properties can be rented together. The outdoor living space promises peaceful views, a private pool, and relaxing seating spots, though one of the bedrooms can only be accessed from the terrace. Along the coast, you'll find the beautiful Nature Reserve of Vendicari. Or the baroque towns of Noto and Ragusa offer rewarding road trips.

Pine Trees & Palms

San Lorenzo has long had a reputation for its fine sandy beaches, and this home is in a prime position to make the most of them. Situated right in the heart of San Lorenzo's sandy stretch, you'll only have to walk 100m to get to the beautiful blue Meditteranean sea – making life much easier for families needing to keep the children entertained. Spend afternoons building sandcastles in the sun while waiting for the tide to come in and challenge your handy work. Then, head back to the villa to enjoy the home. 

It really is a wonderful space the whole family will find joy in. Sleek, modern and practical, you'll get all the pleasures of a traditional family holiday with the luxury of feeling like you're in a Meditteranean paradise. Watch the kids splash around in the pool while you and your loved one spend time together gazing out at the shimmering ocean. We especially think you'll love having romantic cocktail hours on the master bedroom's rooftop terrace. Pour an Aperol Spritz and watch the colour of the sky change as the sun sets.

When you're looking to go further afield and explore the delights of this southern tip of Sicily, you'll be glad to know the lively, picturesque fishing village of Marzamemi is only a short drive away. This will be a great place to take the family for evenings out sampling authentic Sicilian cuisine while watching the fishing boats come in and out of the port.

Sandcastles in The Sun

Donning the classic whites and blues of a beach house, this villa in San Lorenzo is a mere three minute stroll away from one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily, but it has way more to offer than just that. The picture of modern comfort, this home encourages morning lie-ins and refreshing rain showers, first-sip-of-your-coffee moments and alfresco dining, but most importantly it forces the connection between human and nature with a very magnetising outdoor area. The moment you step out onto the patio and see the breathtaking, panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, you’ll not be able to comprehend how it can get any better, but just wait until you take the stairs up onto the sun terrace. From here, coincidentally, you can also hop in the jacuzzi, so our recommendation would be to do just that, with a glass of prosecco in hand, of course, so you watch the sun dip behind the horizon at dusk. 

With a few wineries in the surrounding area, why not go on a tour – you’ll get to each of them in ten minutes or less – and bring back a few of your favourites to enjoy with the Mediterranean feast you’ll prepare on the barbecue? Of course you’ll escape to the beach as often as possible, but the lively fishing village of Marzamemi is utterly charming and reachable by car in eight minutes.
