Set right in Old Las Palmas town, this remodelled 1930s bungalow is within walking distance of some of the area's most famous eateries and just a five-minute drive from Downtown Palm Springs. Built in a classic Spanish style, it's set on an oversized corner plot and boasts a charming walled garden. Lovingly modernised in recent years but retaining its old-world character, the home features terracotta tiled floors, beamed ceilings and all-white walls. We love the living room with its arched fireplace and stylish furniture, and the bar area in the sun room. Double doors open out to the beautiful pool and terrace, where you can swim or laze in the hot tub to your heart's content. Cook in the fully kitted-out kitchen and serve meals outside with views of the surrounding palm trees and mountain tops.   

Star Señorita

This chic home is an excellent example of mid-century modern architecture, set just two blocks away from iconic Palm Canyon Drive. The effortlessly cool interiors give a nod to the past, with antique style patterned rugs, statement lighting and unique artworks on the walls. Outside, there's a glittering swimming pool, lined with bright white sun loungers and tangerine parasols, where you can take a dip with the dramatic backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains. If you fancy getting active, take a hike up to the peaks, or hop on the aerial tramway to avoid breaking a sweat – either way, you'll be treated to jaw-dropping views over Coachella Valley. Come home for a sundowner on the terrace, before stretching out on the curved green sofas with a classic Hollywood movie.

Climb straight out of bed and head through the sliding doors onto your private balcony to plan your day - the home is within a ten-minute walk of the downtown area and borders both the uber-chic Uptown Design District and the peaceful Old Las Palmas. A ten-minute drive will have you in the mountains for world-class hiking and spectacular canyon walks - but you might choose to simply appreciate the view from the side of the pool instead.

Out and about, it's a four-minute walk to the heart of the Old Las Palmas neighbourhood, where you'll find an array of stylish galleries, design stores, restaurants and tiki bars. Or take advantage of the complimentary beach cruisers and explore Downtown Palm Springs, a five-minute cycle or a twenty-minute walk. There's a free trolley called the Buzz that picks up and stops along the main route through downtown too. This place is fantastically connected – Palm Springs International Airport is a mere six-minute drive away, to boot.

Today you'll find stylish galleries, design stores, and tiki bars aplenty. On top of all this, Palm Springs International Airport is a mere six-minute drive away.

Spring Break

Nothing says Palm Springs quite like bright colours and retro designs. With a youthful spirit and an eclectic choice of furnishings and artwork, this apartment is perfect for couples who want to explore this desert resort city. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out to mountain views, as well as making the most of the bountiful amount of sunshine this corner of California enjoys. We think we'd appreciate the freedom to cook up our own healthy recipes in the well-equipped kitchen and serve them out on the private terrace. Get ready for a morning hike up the nearby Cactus to Clouds Trail, which starts twenty minutes' walk from your front door, before coming home to cool down with a dive in the shared heated swimming pool. Even better, you can relax your muscles in the adjacent spa pool. With North Palm Canyon Drive just outside the address and an array of cafés and restaurants leading downtown, you’ve got everything you need within easy reach for an unforgettable break.

Takes Two To Tango
