Set in a quiet gated community, it features eight private suites – two of which have their own lounges with sofa beds, making them perfect for families. The main living area overlooks the pool and mountains, and can even double as a ninth bedroom if needed. You’ll also find a gym with a Peloton, a games room with pool tables and video games, and plenty of bars and restaurants just a stroll away. Plus, if you fancy a day trip, Joshua Tree is only a forty-five-minute drive.

Classic Oasis

Relax and recharge in this striking home, where you'll wake up from a great night's sleep in the comfy bed and stroll into the stylish kitchen for your morning coffee. Watch the sunrise over the mountains from your private balcony, and get ready for the day among the inspiring, bold colours and patterns. When you need to cool off from the heat, go for a refreshing dip in the communal pool, listen to the sounds of the water fountain and take in the gorgeous views of the mountains. There's a communal jacuzzi, too, if you need to relax and soothe aching muscles or, alternatively, unwind with a game on the mini-putt. In the evening,  practice your cocktail-making skills in the modern kitchen or lounge in the living room with a glass of red. If you don't fancy staying in, sample the bars and restaurants on your doorstep. It's a four-minute walk to the heart of the Old Las Palmas neighbourhood, a Hollywood stars' playground in the 1920s – you'll find stylish galleries, design stores, and tiki bars aplenty here. Downtown Palm Springs, on the other hand, is just a twenty-minute walk, or take advantage of the complimentary beach cruisers.

As studios go, this one is pretty spacious – despite the large sofa and king-size bed in the common area, the overall impression as you enter is one of space and light. Part of this is due to the mod-inspired, vibrant decor, and part is due to the set of glass sliding doors that lead out to your very own balcony. A separate kitchen with all the mod-cons and a sizeable bathroom complete this home. There’s plenty of closet space to unpack your wardrobe – good job, too, as you’re right on the edge and within walking reach of the Uptown Design District, home to the best boutiques of Palm Springs. Downstairs, you can hang out in the California sunshine by the pool with a drink at hand or enjoy a relaxing dip in the jacuzzi, before heading out to explore the bars, eateries and sunny sights that this fashionable end of town has to offer.

Magical Mystery

Surrounded by rocky mountains and swaying palms, this pet-friendly villa feels like your own private resort. Inside, whitewashed walls, vaulted ceilings, an open fireplace and light-filled spaces create a stylish backdrop for relaxation, gathering, or entertaining. A cosy casita offers extra privacy for those who want a retreat within a retreat. But it’s the backyard that steals the show — think a resort-style pool, hot tub, firepit, and multiple spots for dining beneath the desert sky. And when you’re ready for a change of scene, the lively shops, restaurants, and nightlife of Palm Canyon Drive are just a short stroll away.

Rock Star

We’re willing to bet that some good-natured individual watched a rainbow materialise in the sky, grabbed a handful of the resulting magic, threw it in a gift box wrapped in serenity and released it into this home. With eye-catching custom murals and generous touches of blue all around, you’ll find yourself in an oasis as exuberant as the outdoors of Palm Springs that Hollywood stars can’t seem to get enough of. 

The home is a mid-century modern delight, and you’ll find a library with a lounge just for reading, a pool terrace dotted with energising palm trees and sensational views of the mountains, and a games room made for indulging in some friendly competition with your fellow guests. You won't want to leave but if you ever decide to, an adventure is always calling out in the Indian Canyons and you’re a five-minute drive from the eclectic mix of shops (everything from candy shops to record stores) in Downtown Palm Springs.

The Blue Ridge

Built in the 40s in that iconic Beverly Hills ranch style, this half-acre private estate in uptown Palm Springs has been sympathetically restored to its former glory, with some much-needed modern touches added for good measure. Your host has even gone as far as to have custom furnishings fabricated to compliment the original architecture – no off-the-peg solutions for this mid-century beauty. 

But before we dig into the details, let's address the headline act – that view! Look out over a planted perimeter of split palms, olive trees, and desert succulents (for utmost privacy) to be greeted by stunning mountain views dominated by the almost 11,000ft of Mount San Jacinto. If you'd like to experience the view from the other side, you're a ten-minute drive from Palm Springs aerial tramway, which will have you part-way to the peak in no time. 

Back at home, you're spoiled for choice when it comes to seating. Indoors or alfresco, upright or flat-out, business formal or slouchy casual? There's an almost infinite combination of seating styles and areas to relax with a book/movie/podcast. 

Three of the five bedrooms boast direct access to the soothing spa patio, and all of them are blessed with luxurious linens and full en-suite bathrooms. In addition, a perfectly maintained pool offers much-needed respite from the desert heat over the summer months. At the same time, the stunning kitchen is equipped with everything you could need except an actual chef, though your host is happy to arrange one for you. 

If you fancy heading out for dinner, you're spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Favourites include Eight4Nine for refined New American cuisine in sleek surroundings, a ten-minute walk from home, and chic farm-to-fork Provençal plates at Farm, under a five-minute drive away.

Buena Vista SoCal Club

Nowhere embodies the carefree vibe of a well-deserved holiday like this Palm Springs pad. With pop art prints on every wall, mod-ish furniture, and a neon-hued private balcony, this home is a bright burst of colour and personality in a world of bland hotel rooms. Situated right on the edge of Palm Springs' Design District, there are complimentary beach cruisers for you to tour the gently winding streets. Meanwhile, Downtown is a mere twenty-minute walk away, making the apartment ideal for all your city adventures or a trip into the San Jacinto mountains. But you don't even need to leave the address to soak up that Palm Springs sunshine – put on your sunglasses and head down to the communal pool, play a round of pitch-and-putt, or simply relax on the loungers under the shade of the palm trees.

Hair Toss

There's more than a hint of magic in the air at this studio apartment in Palm Springs. From the crimson chair and bold pop art to the patterned bedspread and slogan cushions, this home demands you sit up and take notice. Although it would be easy to spend your days chilling inside and soaking up the vintage vibes, you'll be drawn out to the private patio by the blissful Californian sun. Two loungers are waiting for you to stretch out and top up your tan, and when night falls, you can light the fire pit for an atmospheric evening. Take one of the complimentary beach cruisers and head down to explore Palm Canyon Drive, with its array of edgy shops and independent cafes. After a five-minute cycle, you'll arrive in Downtown Palm Springs – with its art museum, Walk of Stars, plus plenty of mouthwatering restaurants. When you've eaten your fill, head back to take a refreshing dip in the shared pool or soak your muscles in the Jacuzzi beneath the swaying palm trees. 

The Lady In Red

Bright, vibrant and wonderfully kitsch, this fabulous home has character by the bucket load. We couldn’t get enough of the funky patterns and kicks of colour – even the jazzy, mint green microwave has risen to the occasion. Start your morning in the kitchenette – pour yourself a fresh cup of coffee and whip up a tasty breakfast to be taken outside on your private patio. When the temperature starts to rise, plunge into the communal pool and bob about in its refreshing waters or find a shaded spot to recline with your novel of choice. After a game of mini-golf, take one of the complimentary beach cruisers for a ride through the neighbourhood. You’re a five-minute cycle to Downtown Palm Springs where live-music events, farm-to-table restaurants and trendy boutiques are an afternoon well spent. 

Diamond In A Rhinestone World

Part of a country club with an impressive list of shared facilities, this little gem is a colourful, cosy home for a couple or a solo traveller. Whether you're here to play golf and sun yourself or to hike in the mountains, this is the perfect base in Palm Springs. Plus its styling gives a more than passing nod to the atomic era, with a 1960s-style tulip dining table and sputnik-inspired curtains. 

Here the toughest decision you need to make is which activity to choose from between the on-site tennis, golf or swimming pools. There's a clubhouse restaurant and cocktail lounge to try out, but it's just a five-minute drive to downtown for all the restaurants and shops you could need. And when you get home, sip drinks on your terrace with views of the surrounding mountians.

Little Atomic

With its private pickleball court, putting green, and beach volleyball area, this desert home is a hub for entertainment and friendly competition. When you’re not relaxing in a sun lounger by the pool or soaking in the hot tub, cook up a storm on the barbecue and dine alfresco at the nearby outdoor table. Then, chat the evening away around the fire pit as the sun goes down. Two lucky guests can retire to the separate casita accessible from the courtyard, but everyone else will still feel very comfortable in the king suites in the main house. If you’re willing to tear yourself away from the house, the restaurants and bars of Palm Springs are close by, too.

Fun in the Desert

You can't help but smile as you walk into this bright, bombastic home. What this studio lacks in size, it makes up for in character, with graphic prints and clashing colours creating a dynamic, inviting vibe. The glass doors leading to the private balcony extend the space, meaning that even with an enormous bed, it doesn't feel cramped at all. Kick-off your shoes, pop on your swimsuit, and head down to the communal pool to soak up some of the Palm Springs sunshine. Or why not play a round of mini-golf at the on-site pitch and put? Come sunset – there's no better place to unwind than on the secluded balcony with a cocktail in hand as night falls. And if heading out to experience the Palm Springs is your vibe, you'll be just a ten-minute walk away from downtown and an array of eclectic eateries, bars and nightclubs.
