Differing from some of the more minimal homes in the surrounding area, the stylish pad celebrates colour and creativity, with unique artworks and custom sinks. After a morning lounging by the saltwater pool, choose from the many hiking trails in your immediate vicinity, hop in the car and you'll be there in around five minutes. The Indian Canyons, comprising three individual canyons, is a spectacular expanse of mountains and desert – whether you're up for a hefty walk, a picnic, or even a quick snap for social media, you couldn't be better located.

The Voyager

This bright and bold compound is fabulous, full stop. Bring a group of friends or family to this Palm Springs oasis, and even if you aren’t celebrating something, it will certainly feel like you are. With four independent suites decked out in sleek contemporary furnishings, there’s plenty of private space for every guest to recharge before opening their front door and entering the heart of this property – the enormous pool and courtyard. This ingenious layout means you are never far from the action and the refreshing, necessary waters of a huge pool in the desert. Fire up the grill for afternoon burgers and hotdogs. When the sun goes down, the neon lights come on – grab a cocktail and turn up the music. You’ll feel like you're at a private club. If you decide to head out, there's plenty to do nearby. Downtown Palm Springs is full of bistros, classic Italian restaurants, and bars with live music. Be sure to check out the weekly night market VillageFest, with its art and crafts, vinyl and gourmet foods stalls, and grab a souvenir to remember the party by.

Neon Trees

This little Palm Springs pad just pops. From the minute you walk through the door, the quirky neon touches and fun flourishes are guaranteed to put a smile on even the surliest of faces. On a quiet street at the northern end of Palm Springs, where you’ll find the newest shops and restaurants, you’ll be close to the Aerial Tramway and just a few minutes drive from downtown. 

Every Cloud

This iconic California ranch was once home to Hollywood royalty Bob and Dolores Hope. Originally built in 1935, you can find this vibrant villa in the sought-after Movie Colony East neighbourhood, known for its cosy restaurants and famous residents. Boasting a spacious yard with a private pool, spend your days relaxing on a sun lounger and cooling off in the water, but if you're looking for a little adventure, there's plenty to be had in the city.

Green spaces like Ruth Hardy Park offer picturesque jogging and picnic spots, while Wellness Park is ideal for some quiet meditation in the warm open air. There are some great hiking trails in Palm Springs, too – head to Joshua Tree National Park to wander the striking desert landscapes dotted with rugged rock formations and get the best views over the clifftops.
