This mid-century villa is located in an idyllic desert spot, set against its San Jacinto mountain backdrop. This is the quintessential place for Palm Springs living - as a couple, family or group of friends, you’re guaranteed a memorable trip.

This home makes full use of its impressive setting - expanses of glass and crisp white interiors reflect the Californian sun whilst teak cabinetry and tanned leather elements hint at the home’s Mid-Century Modern roots. The home’s personal collection of records allows you to soundtrack your day on the turntable or bring your speaker instead - think Billie Holiday whilst grinding your morning coffee to enjoy on your outdoor terrace, Tame Impala for sessions submerged in the pool or hot tub and David Bowie for gin and tonics as the Palm Desert stars descend. 

We don't blame you if you want to spend all your time sun-soaking at your Palm oasis. However, there is plenty to do if you feel like getting to know the local area. Golfers can take their pick from the nearby courses – Mesquite Country Club and Indian Canyons Golf Resort are less than ten minutes away by car – while hikers can explore the cactus-studded landscapes of the San Jacinto mountain range. When night comes, head to El Jefe, just nine minutes on foot, for indulgent Mexican dishes such as the carne asada nachos or Baja fish tacos, all washed down with a spicy guava margarita.

And for explorations further afield, it’s a fifteen-minute drive to Desert Hot Springs and forty minutes to La Quinta.

With two fully equipped kitchens, several lounges (inside and outside), and three en-suite bedrooms, this stunning home caters to those looking for a combination of privacy and social spaces. 

The Spanish hacienda-style home dates back to the 1950s, but it’s received a modern update with a healthy dose of mid-century modern furniture (you are after all in Palm Springs). The backyard is, without a doubt, the heart of the home. We loved the pool with jaw-dropping mountain views, and the fire pit that sets the scene for many nights spent stargazing in great company.

Wake up feeling energised and embark on challenging early morning hikes within a mile of your home, returning in time for brunch in one of the innovative farm-to-fork restaurants that you'll find tucked away in Downtown, a five-minute drive north. Afterwards, while away your days soaking up the sun by the saltwater pool, setting up a table football tournament in the games room and tucking into tantalising home-cooked meals beneath the pergola.
