Located in the heart of North Park, you are in walking distance to unique restaurants and bars, nearby Hillcrest and the Zoo. Return in the evening to enjoy a movie on a rotating TV flat-panel, or set the lights to the right mood, play a tune on the ceiling speakers and enjoy a beer around the fire pit. Once the evenings over, drift off to sleep in an adjustable king-size bed.

Steam

This small-but-mighty home is a great base to immerse yourself in the bohemian lifestyle of Ocean Beach. Secluded among lush greenery with the call of the ocean just two blocks away, the compact space is nicely set up. Start your day at the breakfast bar with a rocket-fuel coffee, then grab your sunnies and towel and head down to the shore. 

Your stay here may seem to fly by as you while the days away on Newport Avenue uncovering unique pieces at vintage stores or people-watching in one of the many coffee shops. After dark, the area buzzes with live music and entertainment from trendy bars and restaurants. It’s also a short drive from downtown San Diego if you’re craving city life, or you can get your nature fix exploring the scenic coastal paths.

Come evening, head back to your abode. You’ll find the communal outdoor space is more than big enough for socialising – share a bottle of California white wine on the patio or get the fire pit going to toast marshmallows. 

Beyond the Beach

Just two blocks away from the beach and one block from the local boutiques and restaurants, this modern beach shack in San Diego provides guests with comfort and style in a great location. 

Recently remodelled, the kitchen is fully equipped and sparkly clean, while the L-shaped sofa in the living room is perfect for sinking into after a busy day. In the bedroom, guests will find a comfy bed with crisp linen and a vanity station which can easily be used as a desk for anyone in need of a home office. It’s a relatively small home, but you needn’t worry because there’s a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy too – equipped with a fire pit and surrounded by benches, it offers the perfect place to wind down. 

You can make the five-minute walk down to Ocean Beach to admire a magical sunset over the water, try your hand at surfing or simply stroll along the sand. Just two minutes away you'll find the local farmer's market, which sells artisanal produce every Wednesday. And, should you fancy an evening out in the city's traditional Gaslamp Quarter, you can drive there in just twelve minutes. 

Freshly Squeezed

Known for its pristine beaches and optimal climate, San Diego is already a gem on the west coast of America. The fact that this beach cottage can also be found in the Mission Bay area makes the trip out to San Diego even more of a must. Ideal for a family stay or reunion of friends, think of this home as a portal to all things spectacular. The beach, for one, is a quick walk away, and so are a number of great restaurants and markets. Belmont Park is ready to keep you company for hours, but we especially recommend seeing it at night when all the lights make it feel extra magical. 

Spending time at home will likely result in burgers grilling on the barbecue outside – stay out there for long after, even as the sun begins to dip, to bask in the holiday feeling. The fireplace is great for colder nights where you can enjoy takeout around the fire before playing a round of Monopoly. Hit the boardwalk on balmier evenings and if you happen to end up with a taco in one hand and a frozen margarita in the other, well, we call that a good night.


Little Blue in San Diego

Perfect for getaways with friends, this Spanish-style home can be found in San Diego’s Mountain View neighbourhood. It’s close to the action, seven minutes from Downtown, and with Balboa Park eight minutes away. The beach is only twelve minutes away – your host can set up a bonfire with s’mores – what a way to kick off your stay. The house is cosy and comfortable, with a lush garden equipped with hammocks, sofas, and a dining table, and a beautiful living and kitchen space inside. There’s even a beautiful clawfoot tub in the garden, should you fancy a starlit soak. 

Sunny San Diego

Perched within walking distance of South Mission Beach, this beautiful beach house is a coastal bolthole the whole family will fall in love with. Set over two levels, this place welcomes you to soak up the San Diego sun in style. 
If al fresco dining is your thing, then you’re in luck. With a ton of outdoor dining and lounge space to both the front and back of the home, this place is perfect for those that love being out in the open air. Float the day away with an iced Americano in hand and get set to kick back in style.
We’re sure the Californian sun will tempt you outside, but if a cosy evening is calling your name, the soothing coastal decor and sumptuous leather sofas serve the ideal spot for family movie nights. 
In need of some ‘me–time’? The balcony deck nestled between the two bedrooms on the first floor was made for quiet moments spent watching the world go by, or with your head buried deep in the pages of a good book. 
For a full day of fun, games and brightly–lit arcades, make a beeline for Belmont Park, just a ten–minute walk away. Alternatively, if you feel like showing off your sporty side, head to the seafront courts for a game of beach volleyball.


Iced Americano

Live the dreamy San Diego beach life from this prime oceanfront location. Seconds from the sand and boasting balconies on both levels with breathtaking views, it doesn't get much better than this if you're after a break filled with sun, surf, and white beaches. Gather your group of loved ones for a big hearty meal, and fire up the barbecue as the sun goes down over the horizon. You'll want to eat alfresco every day, but have a break from cooking and walk to one of Mission Beach's restaurants - popular with visitors and locals alike. Chill out in the fully air-conditioned home, and drink fresh juice in the mornings as you slowly wake up at the breakfast bar. The living room comes with a fireplace and custom flat-screen TV, so you can stream your favourite shows or just put your feet up and relax by the crackling fire.

Pacific Watch

With breathtaking views of Coronado and San Diego harbour, this charming 1920s California-style bungalow sits atop a west-facing hillside in an affluent part of town. Climb the stairs from street level and step into the main open-plan living area and kitchen. Here, you'll find a space blessed with high ceilings and a wall of glass with breathtaking views that leads directly onto a vast twenty-six-foot balcony running the length of the house. Pour yourself a welcome glass of Prosecco from the fridge and relax as you gaze out at the ocean and the planes coming in to land at the airport. Whether you're in town for work or play, location is key, and you couldn't be better placed here – just minutes from San Diego International Airport, Little Italy, Downtown Gaslamp, and the area's beaches. That said, there are plenty of wonderful cafes and historic neighbourhoods within walking distance, so you don't have to rely on four wheels all the time. And even when you're looking to travel further afield, it's a short stroll to the trolley stop, which can whisk you to the Gaslamp Quarter. Alternatively, take the COASTER train north to chic beach towns like Solana Beach, Encinitas and Carlsbad. At the end of a packed day, head through to the soothing bedrooms, which are decorated in neutral tones that contrast nicely with the dark wooden furnishings, while the comfortable beds make getting up in the morning a struggle. 

Down San Diego Way

San Diego is known for its leafy parks, coffee shops, and world-famous zoo, so naturally, you probably want a home with easy access to all the above. Well, at this oh-so-trendy apartment, you'll be immersed in the local community, located right across the street from Balboa Park and within arm's reach of the city's best cultural attractions. The neighbourhood of North Park is just a seven-minute walk away – it's great for flat-white sipping, beer tasting and boutique browsing. You’re even closer to the San Diego Zoo (a four-minute drive), and under fifteen minutes from the beach – placing you squarely in the middle of the action. Pack a picnic and watch the sunset on the sand, then take the long way home, soaking in the balmy nights of this lively city.

Our most ecologically minded guests will find paradise in this home. The garden feels like your very own slice of Eden – not only are the plants beautiful, but most of them are edible too and organically grown. Sweeps of bright orange nasturtium fill the spaces that aren’t manicured and there are cascading waterfalls to add to the feeling of zen. It might be impossible to leave this tranquil space, especially when you can enjoy the tropical vistas from the steamy hot tub. 

However, the interiors are similarly charming and considered, celebrating materials such as stainless steel, glass and wood. Even the cabinets throughout the house are eco-minded, made from recycled cork, and the kitchen is kitted out for a professional chef. Rustle up delicious meals and use freshly-picked herbs from your own garden to garnish.

Just a short drive away from all of San Diego's most sought-after attractions, and only a ten-minute walk to downtown Hillcrest, this home boasts convenience and practicality too.
